  • Goodbyes are hard, even when they are directed at inanimate objects and places. As we started removing all the climbing holds and tearing down the bouldering wall (no more bouldering for a while) and eventually the rest of the place... I started to get "the feels" (wow, lots of quote marks in this description). I figured it might be worthwhile showing you my "studio" (there's another) space and where "the magic happens" (...and one more).

Pretty impressive office. Looking forward to seeing your new one. Also, shout out to the Tamagotchi I saw on your wall. We need a video about that!

My videos are already long enough as it is, you'd have to set aside a weekend if you want an in depth video about how to neglect your Tamagotchi until it's screen fills with poo and the inevitable death. Maybe one day I'll share my secrets.

I know the feeling... but excited to see the new space and setup you come up with!

Bravo on using your gear as long as humanly possible and also getting a lot of used gear. Too much of our planet is being clogged with electronic waste. And you did/do absolutely fantastic looking work even on your older cameras and computers so it just goes to show how talent and creativity trumps gear any day.
A lot of people also ask me how I have so much gear and they think I'm rich or something and I'm like, "I've been running a production company for 12 years out of my bedroom... this was not an overnight thing. It was actually a slow, slow evolution over more than a decade. :P". Life is a marathon and progress is really only evident when you take a step back and see that bigger picture.
It blows my mind how far your channel has come in just a few years and I can't wait to see what's next!

Thanks so much Eric, it does truly mean a lot coming from you. I really like your videos and respect the amount of craft you put into yours. To your point, I hate getting rid of something that is still useful, and at the end of the day, a tool is just a tool, it's the person wielding it that really makes the difference. I also don't have the capitol to invest in new equipment - especially when making videos costs me more than any potential earnings, haha.
I am proud of what I have done thus far, but I definitely want to improve on this base and see where I can take. I definitely want to figure out how we can get together for a video sometime soon. Your channel is deserving of more eyes. Thanks again, as always.

Love the video! It's cool to see someone be open about their video making process. I'm hoping to make my own climbing wall this summer, a lot of inspiration from your design.

That's awesome! Good luck on the build, try to take your time and enjoy it, make it your own. Appreciate you checking out this video, I definitely have been making these videos by the seat of my pants and have really been trying to learn along the way. Thanks for the comment!
