I know they have probably been doing this since they were children but their attention to detail is crazy good. I would pay them more than a regular contractor to come build me a pool.

my one dream in life is to walk through those woods and find all of their creations
They usually get flooded and destroyed pretty much right after they finish them. On top of that they also fill them back up because they can be safety hazards. I’ve seen some of these creations before on my trips to the south east Asia region (I’m from the us) and I saw many still standing ones where in some villages people lived in while other places as I walked toured the jungle, I saw these completely flooded or destroyed creations that must of looked amazing. So I guess if you want to see these creations then it’ll probably depend on location to whether you can find one in good condition or not.

@Rebecca Bristow its a rain forest dude. It will take a while but eventually it will erode the area enough that the thing will collapse. The statues details will be washed away in the first rain though.

Modern tools would probably would not be that helpful because the mineral soil is easy to cut with hand tools. Those guys have a good eye so a laser level would not be really useful either. The only other tools that I see as being helpful are a crane to lift out the dirt and a water pump.

Was thinking same thing. Imagine what these guys can do with a computer, advanced technology, n more man power. They'd build a magnificent world lol.
There was real tools involve. It was used in some part in making it. You just don’t see it on camera. I was so surprised like 90% of people that comment here think they did this 100% by hand. I been there before in one of their video and another one in vietnam doing the same. Of course they did it by hand using those tools but there was also big machinery involve that they don’t show it on camera just to rush the project along faster.
