Could it be that the people Cj is seeing in this triple trouble are the nightmares he suffers from their deaths
My headcannon is that some sort of virus infected the game and corrupted all the characters. CJ has to fight it in order to save his friends and San Andreas.
I see it as PDSD, Cj lost almost everything due to Smokes Greed
