- so. what i have been working on for the past two years of my life has come to an end. crazy. this video is literally me reacting to my results i wanna die.
i'm typing this and I am literally on the plane to ~AMERICA~!!! i actually made it!!! crazy!!!!
my UK chapter of life has come to an end. lowkey sad. i will be doing a whole "goodbye UK' vlog, sum reflections and all that, just so we can all get up close and personal tehe.

Jett Green no it's actually slightly above average 😂 The IB's global average last year was 30.2 and my own school's was 28
Jett Green IB Subjects are graded 1-7 (unlike the more differentiating 9-point grading scale used by GCSEs). In this case, a grade 6 is very strong as, I believe, it aligns with an A-level grade A according to UCAS points. - That is a great achievment.

@@chlobotai it went well, i passed all my may 2019 exams :) i think i got a 4 in history hl. but honestly the ib students taking exams this year with the pandemic and everything seems 10x more stressful

I sobbed before i opened mine, predicted a 26, mental breakdown during exams, thought i failed, came out with a 27. Wish i had recorded the transition from anxiety tears to happy tears

Wait, how? You can’t get your diploma if you scored 2 in one of your subjects right?
미나미이 not true. You can get a two in an sl as long as your sl’s add up to 9 points and I think there’s a rule in place that says you can’t get more than one 2 but idk about that for sure

OH trust me, I literally had a mini panic attack 3 mins before I got my results, almost fainted so that was fun 😂 but I PASSED TOO SO WELL DONE BRO 😻

I don’t know why this is on my recommendation lol but I am an incoming IB student this year and the comments(some) is scary hahahahaha I am literally thinking of getting out of this program but if I don’t take it I won’t be getting a free ride to school which is the school bus :((

Congrats! Currently going into my 2nd yr just hoping I pass in general. They made us do our EE first year at my school so I'm already one foot in the trashbin
I wasn't full IB but I took SL Math and HL History. I took only one year of Spanish IB but quit bc there was only one Spanish 5 class and it was after lunch and at my school if you didn't have any classes after lunch your senior year, you could leave at lunch. So I was like Frick that haha. Ah, good times.
OKAY SO, most kids have to take ib for two years in the ib program. But here’s the thing, I’m not in the ib program, I’m in an I.B SCHOOL that’s goes from k-12 so I’ve been doing the ib program since kinder year. Life sucks and I wish I only had two years

I'm sitting for the exams in November, on Friday I have to hand in my extended essay and I haven't read 1 of the books I'm talking about, my word count is 1800, also I should have handed in my TOK essay on Friday but I only have 600 words, life is hell.

I was very happy with my 31 too, I mean, I passed, it's over... Extremely crazy, I got a C for TOK(I have no idea what they were expecting for the essay, I wrote a good one I thought...), and an A (seriously was not expecting that) for my EE. Guys, history EEs are the strat.

My bud and I had a competition to see who could score higher as we took almost the same subjects. The results were a mixed bag I got 41 which was awesome but he got 42 and is now rubbing it in my face. I'm sure we are all glad it's over though.

I’m so confused, im going to an IB middle school and it’s not hard at all. It’s just a normal school basically. I barely even understand the IB part of it. I also didn’t have to “get in” so I’m really confused. Someone helpppp (edit) also it’s the same logo in your thumbnail, I see that all over my school

IB sounds pretty cool honestly, I’m sure it’s super duper duper stressful, but it sounds a lil cooler than AP classes
It depends, I guess. I did IB and had was doing AP on the side. Personally, in my experience I found IB harder. Probably bcuz a lot of additional stuff was required from me.
IB is death
IB is basically AP with extra essays, mind fuckery aka TOK and community service aka CAS.
Problem is IB depends too much on how your school adapts it. One big deal is TOK, since different teachers from different schools and examiners all have different opinions about it...
