story 1 not the asshole. i think the idea of the man having to support the women is very sexist and too much on gender roles yes women have the pressure of birth but that doesn't mean they have to quit their jobs and stay with the baby 24/7 because that can lead to separation issues. and for men if wife/ girlfriend does have a child if you decide to keep said it would be a heathy idea that you support the wife during and a while after the baby is born just to give the wife/girlfriend a break. and i fully agree that they should have talked before hand on what they would do if the situation were to happen.
story 2: i have no advice.
story 3: not the asshole. i have no issues with home wife/hub but asking someone not calling you a name and them not listening is very annoying. and if it really wasn't that big of a deal them she easily could have stopped.
