This car provides serious driving pleasure. The grip and stability is phenomenal. Just the perfect mix of an everyday and a sports car.

Have you replaced the stock tyres yet? I find the axle tramp so annoying when you boot it with poor conditions.
@@alexb2612 not yet. But axle tramp is due to engine movement so you're better off getting whiteline torque arm bushings to replace factory ones

@@Big1_ It looks good altho maybe a bit boyish like I said, drive realy well also but yes, the performance was realy dissapointing, the newer one will have a dct which will help a lot. I drove a 245hp gti and it felt way quicker than this and this has 275hp. You'de be better of buying a second hand gti than this imo.

My 1 series does 100-220 in 4th gear😅
What ever the limit is in each gear is what it can do. My car could do the same tbh.
But to be fair the car had a long Rev range
what a great review as always, this is the thing that most people don't really understand is that Hyundai is making great cars. especially N cars, total respect for the N division of Hyundai, and respect to the owner because the 25 added HP really made a noticeable difference on camera so I'm pretty sure the real-life difference is very good.

I assume that is some tune where the map goes very conservative on top end and Fokus only on torque midrange?
Recently I heard that Hyundai do use smaller turbos as some other brands in the past so that the engine becomes snappier. For tuning it becomes less good when only viewing on max power.

They must've done something to the suspension. I've driven the old one and, recently, the new one and they are very composed. Regarding acceleration the new one with the DCT is a must have.

Modded mine cosmetically, the only thing i did to the engine was change the intake to a pipercross one (highly recommended, sounds awesome and super easy to fit) i also recommend to leave the engine mods alone until the warranty expires, trust me, ive had a few leaks here and there but without this warranty, i'd have had to of sold this car by now, would recommend buying an i30N with at least 2 years left on the warranty. And did any i30n owners clock that he changed the suspension and didn't select custom N Mode? i found it quite funny

In assetto corsa you can adjust the angle yourself
