This is what I needed to hear. I have been off and on with alcohol and on my birthday I got too far gone (July 4th) and my husband is done. I almost fought people including my mom and called him nasty names. Now he’s done. I don’t blame him. I ruined a lot bc I couldn’t just let go. I have ptsd from my abusive past by my ex. If I’m not drinking I don’t know how to fully be happy. So the next morning I owned up to it all. I told everyone I’m sorry. I told my husband I’m sorry. I’m at home hurt and needing to find my path in life. My kids deserve so much better and I’m realizing I deserve to be happy. It’s hard to find meetings during this time. And counseling is over the phone so that makes it hard.

I'm an alcoholic, I started drinking when I was in high school but I was a light drinker till my 12 standard and when I join college I begin to drink on daily basis and now I'm 27 which I still drinks. Not even a day one without alcohol. But I'm really gonna try form today and thank you so much #Sir for your emotional and life changing video.

You can do it. I have a similar story but i’m 37, just hit 6 weeks sober. It’s easier than you think, just gotta give it a shot.

Eugene Medina I’m sorry you’re suffering with depression. It was extremely painful for me and I wanted to end my life. I’m so glad I didn’t because I know there’s another side to life. When I gave my life to Christ my life gradually changed. I found joy unexpectedly and one day at work I had realized I hadn’t thought about killing myself in a while. Reach out to God.

You can believe whatever you want but god didn’t change your depression bud. I don’t understand why everyone wants to discredit their own journey and their own improvements by just saying it was all a result of god... you got rid of your severe depression by bettering yourself, not by magically getting cured by some ethereal being...

wow tears in my eyes hearing this. It been a year I stop drinking alcohol I feel really good and I just finish one semester 9 subject at university and focusing on my career I stop alcohol for my kids as single mom I do not want my daughter and my son seeing me drinking escape from my stress job and fail in marriage life starting drinking running away is not solutions.

I was like that as a kid.....thank god my peers were smoking weed not drinking. 30 yrs later I still don't drink or take drugs....just a joint a night b4 bed. Smoke weed everyday.

I love stories like this but also hate them I love them because it shows life changing event in someone turning her life around I hate them because they contributed to a God God did absolutely nothing for you if you want to thank God for getting a clean you also have to blame God for getting you to the place that you were before you were clean that's how it works gotta take both things and. Or you can contribute the turn around to your daughter to wanting to provide for her to wanting to be a good father for her for wanting to be there for her and you not God you made those choices to change you made those choices to better yourself not God you did that
There are thousands of definitions of God. Doesn't have to mean a guy in the sky. Could be the forces of everyday life.
I would need to beg to differ. If you believe in God, and the Scriptures - then you must also need to believe in the devil and he is amongst us all today, you just need to turn on the news. It's satan and his army at work in this world we live in and he will prowl around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour- in other words - God gave man free will and if you add that to all of the temptations and evil of this world, you better believe the devil will surely test every single one of us. All it takes is a moment of weakness to get his claws into us but I believe that God will not forsake us however, through our own free will (and the influence of evil) we choose our own path. God is love. He would not put us in painful, traumatic situations, but he can surely take us out of them.
God knows what's in all of our hearts and he knows the struggle we face in these dark times. He hears our cries for deliverance but I believe he allows us to go through certain situations for us to learn, grow and prepare us for the next challenge that the devil sends our way so that we may have the strength to say NO to anything that does not serve us...
Remember there is a holy war going on between good and evil and its a fight we all must face until the day of judgement.
and whiles it can often feel easy to "Blame God" for the bad situations in our lives...but we need to remember that as human beings we have been given free will and its our choices that will determine our circumstances but I thank God that he is directing my steps and guiding me back towards him and away from sin and I pray that whatever you are going though that brought you to this video soon, too shall pass. 🙏
