  • The penultimate song in the concert! At this point I'm feeling more tired than the girls even look after banging this concert out, which must have been both physically and emotionally exhausting!

    Martirio is an international Rock anthem that will become more and more appreciated as time goes by.

    One word comes to mind for this song live, Anthemic. The official music video for this song is visually stunning and worth a look.

      They were also chanting “outro”.
      This is one of TW songs where you have to watch the OMV which has quite a story behind it.
      They talk about the “suffering” or “martyrdom” they went through to record the video in one of their vlogs or interviews.

    No, this is not an older song. It's about being a Martyr. In the Music Video, their Mom plays one of the Witches.

    I think Martirio may be the first song they composed for what became the ERROR album. They first performed it live when they were touring for the first time in Argentina in 2019. It was a a slightly different arrangement, particularly with the drum pattern at one point in the song, but otherwise essentially the same structure.

    An amazing fact to consider: their last album was recorded at the end of 2020, so every song in this concert was written when they were 20-18-15 or younger, except the Enter Sandman reimagining.

      @@DadDaughtersandDrinks Actually they had the songs ready already pre-taped at end 2019 and paid for through their KickStarted campaign and ready to go into a studio but then Covid-19 hit and plans were changed. On top of that they wrote a 5 record deal with Lava Record in August 2020 after several months of negotiations. So then under Lava's wings they were introduced to David Bendeth as producer (quite known in the music industry) and they started to record the album in New Jersey etc in Spring Winter 2021/2022The first songs came out in 2021 May with Choke as a single and then they dropped 5 songs whereafter and turned them into the EP called Mayday. The reason for this is still a mystery for me as all songs were ready, now how I would release an album but I think it was out of their control as Lava wanted to release songs as "singles", ofter they were asked when they songs were coming out and they said that that is not longer in their hands. Even though TW demanded from Lava to keep their control over Patreon and have full musical freedom I guess you have to give up something, in this case how when and order to release the songs. Then they could finally release the album Error in 2022 but in order to release the album as a new album they needed more that 50% of the songs to be new songs and in this case they had already released 6 songs on the Mayday EP so they needed additional songs and that is why Intro 401 and Breathe is on the album as songs.

    This song proves music speaks louder than whatever language the song may be written in, you can feel the power and the message without understanding the lyrics! One of my favorite The Warning songs and an amazing vocal by Dany!

      @DadDaughtersandDrinks  Před 6 měsíci +1

      You are absolutely correct. One of my favorite songs is in French, and the first few times I heard it I was absolutely mesmerized. Then I looked up the lyrics and the meaning behind it and was just heartbroken. (FWIW, the song is "demain des l'aube" by Pierre Bensusan, with the lyrics all being from the Victor Hugo poem of the same name).

    Thanks for your reaction. This song hits hard, speaking to the stupidity of being a martyr. Life is precious, don't throw it away for any cause.
    You certainly went on a binge, reacting to this awesome concert. I know it helps your channel a lot by uploading lots of content, but sadly my time is limited and there are so many reaction videos I want to watch each day. I made a personal choice a long time ago to not watch more than one reaction per day, by the same reactor to the same artist. There are many fans who will binge watch your reactions. I suggest recording all the reactions, then uploading one reaction per day for a particular artist. I truly think it will increase your views when you want to binge another artist. Just my suggestion.

      Thanks for the advice! I normally wouldn't do it this way, but my time is normally limited as well, yet I had some unexpected free time this weekend. I was afraid if I didn't get it all out there right away I would get distracted. I'm sure it will be the last time I do it this way.

      @@DadDaughtersandDrinks Thanks for the reply. I always feel badly when I know I won't have the time to watch videos I would like to watch. The Warning typically has quite a few reactions each day, so it is nearly impossible for me to go back to watch older reactions. I also watch reactions to Angelina Jordan, a self taught jazz singer who will turn 18 on Tuesday. She gets even more reaction videos each day. Her version of "I Put a Spell On You" might produce the most shocking reaction, in a good way, of any music video on CZcams.

    I think it's likely an encore partly because it's in Spanish, partly because it's a great song, and partly because it just sounds like something with which you'd end a concert. I think Z, on the other hand, is something you'd only open a concert with. Can't end a concert screaming "I think that we should" LOL! As with much of the music from their Error album that they sing in English, the lyrics go pretty deep. A lot of it is critical of Gen Z. Martirio is critical of self-made martyrs, but at the same time hopeful. This kind of dichotomy reminds me of what you said about their break-up songs, like Survive. Yes, they could have fun and smile because, while it's about a break-up (in the case of Animosity, inspired by a break-up with a friend), they've moved on.
