Here what my grandma always says: “I am not rich to buy cheap products”. Such a summary👌🏻
Yeah true agree, tho lot of successful personalities buys lot of cheaper things,
Wisely thinking, depends of "the actual usage as well as the durability of that cheaper thing".
Doesn't mean your reach means it is wise and would help you grow by buying expensive brands, status symbol.
Summray: Lexus Vs Mercedes. (Longevity vs Fancy Short term usage)
I am looking forward to the time where I can hire all the help I need like a cook, cleaner , nanny, assistant. Until then, I am learning the discipline to do it myself
I started working on managing my finances 2 years ago and everything started changing. Financial literacy changed my mindset, my habits, my goals. Loved what Marina said about the discipline, it is the key.
Love the transparency and openness here, its time we be real and be more disciplined in the things we do. Love it!
All great ways to save money! Staying on top of your finances and keeping them organized is a big one
Hi Marina! I am financial advisor (ecomonist and lawyer) and I follow quite similar principles like you and I teach them to my clients. I love your videos! Many thanks for your job! 😊
Higher Quality stuff to consume less ..and then invest in stocks/business. Btw nice question!
I totally agree with the first advice. I recently invested in a Herman Miller Aeron chair, specially because I have spine issues (I got a disk operated two years ago), but also because I was always looking for better options than I had. I bought a 250$ chair, and the next month I wanted a 300$ one cause it has headrest. When I bought the HM Aeron for 1500$, I have never felt stressed again by getting the best option available and this chair is going to stay with me a life time.
Super advice on the stuff for kids. So true, so glad you voice it! The best kids are the ones passed on by friends!
I love you Marina! You are inspiring, disciplined and honest! Wish you the best and I wish myself the same discipline to make things come true.
Awesome video! I love longer videos packed with lots of info all in one place!
Also I really enjoyed your approach to this video being more habits and lifestyle based as opposed to hard numbers and spreadsheets (although those are also useful) more content like this pls!!
Good stuff! I started watching you for the English lessons and ended up here! You are very cool and I even learned a couple of words here!
Great video, i come from family that taught me to save money, and I am glad that I changed that approach.
You are a true inspiration Marina! 💐
Thank you for useful video! Looking forward to seeing more video with tips based on your life experience and vlog where you share your thoughts.
Dear Marina! You are my biggest inspiration! I am from Azerbaijan which makes me happy that we are almost from same backgrounds! I recently started CZcams. I am following some of your tips and it worked. I wish you best with your babies. I love seeing Emily and Lily on stories. U are giving great energy!
Thanks so much for the tips. I’m working on delegating more ❤️
I agree 100% with you and the things you're saying. Enforce and strengthen the specific characteristics needed to become a more successful candidate.
One the most extraordinary videos That I have watched, so much helpful practical information ❤️🔥
Hi Marina, I enjoyed watching your video. Thanks!
your channel is the only one relevant to me these days! thumbs up
Your videos is AMAZING! Marina, your mindset, discipline, and mental hygiene are incredible! Thank you for being a healthy & stunning inspiration & role model. Hope to meet you in person one day in SFO :)
This the first video I watched from you. I really enjoyed it. Wish you the best of luck 👌👌😍
My parents always teach me to save as much money as possible, I've never thought about investing in higher quality things to consume less 🤔 Great video! 👍
Lots of love to you Marina♥️
Hi, thank you for these tips, have a nice day !!
All time favorite guru🤟 from English learning to financial education 🙌😛
The first one is legit 100%, I bought like 25 of 3-7$ cases from Amazon and i never felt enough until one day i decided with Apple's original case for 59$, it may sounds a lot at first but right after i had that piece, never have buying cheap cases crossed my mind ever again LOL, it may be incomparable to the value item that you got (LV Bag) but I totally relate to it. AND WHAT'S FUNNIER is that I never realized this until I hear your first tips! Hahaha thanks Marina!
I learn English and this video very useful for me! Thank you very much!❤️ 💐💐💐💐💐
I fully agree with you, and I have an upcoming episode on similar ideas I learned! Thank you for sharing your wonderful energy and ideas. ❤
You are doing amazing 🔥
Great videos! exceptional tips:)
Go girl , simply I love you ❤️❤️
Great video Marina, your home is cosy.
I love all of your videos 😍
Amazing approach and good insights towards useful real world topics are always appreciated from me and you never fail to deliver 💜🧡
Take care and have a good rest of your day!
When you talked about renter’s mindset I thought you were going to emphasize being a renter lifer but the tip you provided on being a minimalist is 👌🏻
Love it!
Love ur advices
I audit my finances every month on a spreadsheet as well, tracking my net worth.
Thankyou it makes a lot of sense
my dad always was telling me about saving. here is on of his advice: save money in your body and bon. it means saving money as important as saving healthy.
In reference to your child's topic an enriched environment is always a plus.
OMG Verve coffee !! I was once in LA, West Hollywood their coffee spot.. so nostalgic
I think she mentions few good points here. She described her journey which is great . Really helpful for the new immigrants and startups to learn financial discipline .
2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
You are amazing girl ❤
Man, I love how your channel is more advice oriented now. Your advice is absolutely "fire", to use a modern term lol.
Truly, though, really good stuff. Your life path is different than most people giving advice, so combined with your personality, your advice is actually unique. And even when it's similar, it's different enough to get the brain's reticular activation system to pay attention. So it's just perfect! I just love it.
All makes sense, dear Maria
Hi Marina!
I've always had similar view like you have now. I prefer buying more expensive things for years than buying sth which has lower quality and lower price. Trainers can be good example.
Greetings form Poland.
I'm happy you got life like this now cuz you deserve that. Your English skills are amazing. You sound like a native English speaker in every way!
My family tells me to buy expensive products to invest longer coz we r not very rich .. now watching your videos makes a whole lot sense
Extraordinary person reading this, you are not define by your circumstance or your past. It’s not what happened to you that determines your success in life; it is how you deal with those circumstances that determines your success in life! You are strong, you are capable and practice forgiveness (Forgiveness is for you) and gratitude everyday. This will change the course of your life forever! Love you always and I believe in you wholeheartedly ✨❤️ - Nat
Awesome! Yes buying LV is a good buy. You can sale it for same amt if not more in a future.
Also. Love the minimalism mentality.
I’ve got a Prada bag 10 years ago and I still wear it. The quality is sooo good
Marina, your camera is amazing 🙃
Marina, such a good question! Im a very conservative person but my parents always say me to invest on a good quality products, just in order to save more in the future. I do believe that in some time, i’ll get to what you mean, i just really need some time😬
Just love when she says ' portfolio '
So amazing video😍
It’s good advice. I don’t want to have too much stuff. Also, it’s a very nice idea to have a coffee machine. Thank you!
Outstanding videoo💜💜
Ciao Marina, I live in a forest in Italy atm. We get our house warm with the fire we make from the woods we collect. I homeschool my kids. We spend 0 $ to have fun and I absolutely love our life style. but I still like to watch your videos and I am actually learning a lot from you. I was born in Italy and my first language is Italian, we can have a chat so you can improve your Italian: in this way I will give back the knowledge I have learned from you. baci
You are amazing 😊:)
I also come from a family where saving was important and finding something at a cheap price was like a little victory. But I can't complain, I was lucky and I had a nice life and I also got some 'start' capital from my parents when entering adulthood. My father actually gifted me some gold coins after graduating high school. As I didn't know better, I spent most of it on concert tickets and enjoying life. Oh what I would do differently as my now wiser self :D
The concept of investing to grow assets in order have more freedom in life came a few years later. But thinking back to my childhood, investing was not as accessible as it is today, at least for regular people. And there was also very little information. It has only been during the last 5+ years, that I have seen a huge rise in teaching the young and the old about handling and growing money. And it is awesome as investing has become somewhat a new national sport for Estonians (where I am from) along with ice dipping :D
amazing!
My parents when I was growing up focused on telling me to budget and save. Budgeting was a big big thing
I came from a family who taught me to save, save , save.. and i understand them for that.
My mom told me money should work. I am no sure, she really knew why it meant, but I memorised it and applied.
Yes buying expensive stuff, I agree. Good experience.
U are one of my fav persons❤❤❤
About renting , what is better renting or buying on leverage ... This depends on the economic cycles , the country statuesque or situation plus personal preferences as each person experience and perceive things differently ....
I love your video...
Which skill is better future now??
My father is like a investing mindset and my mother is quiet opposite him . This led me investing at 15 but not a lot .but they said I can invest large amounts of lumpsum when I get a job . 😅
I buy quality made not necessarily branded. I don’t like the idea of paying the brand name.
I’m the youngest out of 7 and yes, we needed to save, save and save…
Holy Toledo ;-) Very good and honest Video. But you must also take one important factor into account. You are smart and clever and a head full of permanent great ideas. I like you channel very much...😀
Am from India and I belong to a country where people focus on saving rather than investing money in some thing.
Same here Sakshi ...
I'm also from India and it's happening in our society too..
Why is this? Is it not well known that investing is how you can actually grow wealthy over time?
@@wilcoxj3 umm.. Can say that its the mentality of most of the people living over here.
Agreed. Buy quality.
I'm originally from Russia. I've grown up in an ordinary family, it means that my parents told me to save money all the time. It's a kind of traditional education in our country. Everyone knows that prices are increasing, always not enough money , and you have to survive in such conditions.
Awesome 👏
Work and self productive hours are the keys.
My family is same as your family. My mom always says to save money. Sooo I think I would become a billionaire as you one day. You are my inspiration.
Marina, I grew up in Cupertino to a blue color family with parents that lived through the great depression. We shopped at J.C. Penny's, and Sear. My parents didn't know about investing and it was in the 1970s after I graduated from high school that IRAs and 401K became a thing. Because of this, I didn't learn about investing. I'm lucky in that I have bought houses that have appreciated in Santa Clara County. Between my military and government careers, I will have a good retirement.
Thank you
That’s why I buy counterfeit Louis Vuitton bag to enjoy the design but without the price tag.
Hi from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿 As always best content. Thank you for what you are doing. All the best for you and for your family ❤
Sad to see many marketers in investing in the comment section. Nice sharing as usual btw Marina.
You didn't buy product. You buy confidence and emotion of brand.
Yes marina dii....even I come from a middle class family.... 😅And my parents do teach me to save 💸 money....as it teaches us the difference between our wants and our needs 😀
I would not buy a LV purse. It’s not who I am, I’m a target when I travel especially internationally, and I cannot successfully negotiate business deals w an expensive bag-they know I have $$$
My dad taught me one thing about money: Don't spend money that you don't have. And I love that mindset because for so many people, it's so easy to borrow and they're always in debt. I am now looking into investing as an adult.
Yes my mom told me the same thing. I have never had any debt in my life because I lived by what she said. Pay the credit card bill every month on time and build a great credit score to take advantage of in the future. Living debt free is freedom.
They tell me always spend my money on a right way
Like if I have to spend it I do , if it not like really necessary i don't
It is good you have changed the preview
Same reason I bought my Porsche Macan Turbo , Audi R8 and recently Tesla model X P90D, so I don't need other cars :)
Amazing
4:58 you said through suddenly in Russian accent, which was so cute😆.
Great skill
My parents were never good at saving but neither they would invest. They had business which was physical and they always said you must work hard to make money and to be honest they are still working for employers and aren’t at the stage where they can retire. I wish I had learned all I know much earlier in my life but well I guess we all have to just trust the process
Which coffee machine is that? I loved it! I want to buy it too!!
Could you please let us know who the manufacturer of your water machine is? We loved it
The topic, about you feel good .
Please share some busiess tips that help us like how to invest money and where to invest and when
You don’t become a millionaire through saving. Most millionaires say that’s the biggest myth. You become a millionaire through sales of a product or service or investing. Selling items in your closet won’t produce a lot of money unless you have thousands of pounds worth of designer outfits and you use that money to reinvest into something.
Yeah, this video is one big BS
This was part of her journey she doesn't say she only did this to become a millionaire I don't think you understand what she even says in the video !!! Nobody becomes millionaire by only Saving but it is part of the journey to become successful by learning how to save and what kind of ways exist to save
It's question of earning and spending: if you spend everything you earn, you'll always be poor
