Great tip! It drives me nuts when a kit doesn't have mirrors. I believe it adds realism.
Thanks!
Thanks, yeah it bothers me as well. Also bothers me when there is only one side mirror. Thanks for watching!
Some good looking mirrors right there; by far and away better than the kit supplied... mess.
Great tutorial, thanks for sharing.
Hi, thanks and tanks for watching
That was one of the best tutorials I have ever seen,.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Mirror turned out excellent....very well done tutorial!

Thanks, I'm really happy with how they turned out. and much easier than my original plan of trying to turn some from rod.
Excellent tutorial Justin, easy and understandable. You've made yourself a great looking pair of mirrors. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.

Thanks Jeff. When the prototype worked I was like "Those were so freaking simple! I need to share this."
In the past I've spent... more than i should... trying to get descent after market mirrors for kits that didn't have any.
@@JHartModelworks trial and error lol I’ve been looking into how to make them for awhile now so this helps I’ve never gotten the UV resin I’ll have to pick some up thanks can’t wait to try your technique on the next old truck I do
Great tutorial! Thanks for showing how to do this.
Thanks Skip
Nice justin bro,, 👍
Thanks Keith!
I've had the best luck punching holes with one of the leather hole punches.
I thought about that later as they have different sizes on the punch. But this was laying in my drawer and happened to be the perfect size, but I may have to get a good multi size punch tool for next time.
Great vid Justin!!!!!
Thanks Tim
@@JHartModelworks 👍👍👍
Where do you buy the thin plastic mirror sheets from?
That's hasegawa mirror finish chrone sheet. It's kinda pricey, so i pretty much only use it for mirrors. You can check Amazon. I know burbank house of hobbies carries it.
@JHartModelworks thanks I am in Australia so everything is pricey to get here .haha
@@leechapman7848 Honestly being that close to Japan I'd think it would be cheaper to order it from one of the Japanese shops. BNA doesn't have it, but Plaza japan www.plazajapan.com/4967834718012/ is listing it for like $6. Hobbylink japan lists it but they show it for what I'm used to seeing it here for, $15.
Awesome looking mirrors Justin, thank for the tutorial. KUTGW buddy.
Thanks Jim. Have a great weekend!
