- Hudba

One of the best bands ever!!!
I Think Gerard Love is a pop genius
I agree! :)
Totally agree. His voice is so smooth. There is not one song from Gerard in the whole Teenage Fanclub repertoire that is bad or average even. A truly underrated musician and songwriter. One of my favorites from him is the Town and the City. So underrated song.
Just saw Teenage Fanclub live without Gerard because he left. They played none of his songs, ok. The show was lacking something. Most of the more iconic TF songs are from Gerard lets not kid ourselves. No radio. No hold on. No thin air. No Don't look back. No I need direction. No Ain't that enough. No Star sign. No Sparky's dream ffs!!! Miss you Gerard!
He definitely is, I rate Dont Look Back as one of the greatest songs ive ever heard. Theyre gonna miss him.
That's true@@sxmchn... Just return from the Bilbao Gig, (the sound was awful) but I wouldn't have bet it will be THAT different without him... So disappointed.
Best power pop band of all time? I say yes.
America loves you . Scotland has the worlds best musicians
no doubt
Not since the Byrds has a band sounded as pure as the Fannies! It's this earnestness I can't explain. This is the band I keep coming back to, in live since Bandwagonesque. Fannies forever!!!
Check out Big Star
That guy in the front with the goatee is me at a Teenage Fanclub show. Love his energy and emotions. He's my spirit animal.
I thought he might be someone famous, as he gets a lot of screen time. Isn't he a producer or radio presenter?
Sorry to hear that after about three songs unless you're on some high-powered drugs that have to f****** leave
I saw him back in the day but my problem is every song is like the same Rhythm the drummer why even have a drummer just put a freaking drum machine back there it's like the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
about almost 30 years - since they started their career, but the voice never changed ever.
Voices don't get old. Souls and hearts live forever. You just close your eyes and the feelings are there, untouched. Thank god for Teenage Fanclub and thank god for music that gets to your heart.
Fannies in full throttle. Really glad I got to see them on this tour before Gerry left. They really need to play his songs live still.
I don’t think they’d do em justice
Gerard was such a massively integral and arguably irreplaceable part of their sound, not to mention responsible for writing many of their best songs.
without Gerry it's not the same
@@shoppingamericanarecording5808 Bring back Gerry!
@@shoppingamericanarecording5808 if they come around my parts I probably won’t be seeing them unless gerry is back
Wow...awesome Teenage Fan Club - my fave band , I Know and loved this band since thirteen album, love this band from Indonesia, thank you for uploading this amazing show
J'y étais ! Merci pour le partage ✌
So much time since i saw Teenage Fanclub in concert for last time. I actually knew about them in 1993, cause they were opening for Nirvana in Madrid. And then, Buffalo tom opened for them a few years later. One of my favourite bands,, i still got the original cds and listen their music in my car, while i drive to work. So glad i found this concert, kind of Flashback to the 90´s
Can't be many bands that get better with age like this.
Shit we all got old lol.
30 ans qu'on les aime!!!
So many years... so many wonderful songs...
i love their music so much
They are so good. Melodic and emotional, but at the same time loud and distorted, electric - that is, real Britpop, or Scotpop © if you like. I saw them twice live, 2012 and 2019, and this excellent video satisfied my nostalgia for gigs in some measure.
Yeah... I just saw them in LA (May 18, 2024). It was a good show, but they really need to bring Gerry Love back.
Big Star were my Beatles, and Teenage FanClub were my Big Star
that's a profound statement!
The Beatles were my Beatles and I discovered Big Star AFTER Teenage Fanclub so I suppose Big Star was my Teenage Fanclub. :)
@@hankmore1 Great reply Hank!
Teenage fanclub have more and better songs than big star ever had
TFC were our Beatles. Charlatans the stones.
These youngsters seem to have so much energy!! We could make them build roads and skyscrapers 😊🌟
Sensacional! Que show e qualidade foda.
Brasil representado 💚💛
Thank you very much for the upload... Wish they could sign my TFC cassetes.. =)
Your Music is beautiful, I really like :)
Merci de l'Écosse
No problemo. Gracias. Bon chance.
Wish I could hear Raymond's lead guitar.

Teenage anos 90.....................
Great group, I enjoyed a lot this new music... new for me, at least :) Thanxxx :)))
Hey Shazoo, glad you like one of my favourite bands! :D They're a Scottish band that've existed for almost 30 years now, they have put out a good deal of studio albums, all good (I think all of their albums are on Spotify). They're big fans of American powerpop Big Star, don't know if you know them but they're also part of my favourite bands! :D
I miss Gerry!
Fantastic concert. From my point of view Gerard Love voice deserves a little more volume and Norman less volume in the final mix. Perfomance of all band members is good.
Massive band!
Víve la Fannies!
53:44 when I finally get to see the band i love live
58:38 too
Vocal harmony. Harmony in general. Something something
👏👏👏😘
Arte is the Only reason to turn on TV These Days....Ladies and Gentlemen, The Beatles and Neil Young had a Baby and it was Born in Glasgow, Scotland....
The godfather were the Byrds.
@@eduardosturla I think that is more accurate, although there are lots of influences including the Left Banke.
Que de chemin parcouru depuis le concert à l'Espace Ornano ! ))))))))))))))))))))

that crowd. gaggin for it
What's happening with Norman's voice on Your Love Is the Place Where I Come From?

i dont remember this group has this many members

I hope they reverse this song order when I see them...
15:21 I am literally in love with this beautiful girl.
Good call…
Haha, we get it, cameraman; there's a lot of beautiful women in the crowd.
Honestly, I'd rather you focused on that dude in the front row having a religious awakening throughout the show! More power to him, haha!! :D
I myself went to a Fannies show on this exact tour. They played 23 TUNES that night in Copenhagen. What a fucking band.
4:32 please don’t play airdrums on my head
And Raymond is a genius guitarist but i wish his songs never appeared in a set.
France sure ain’t no Barrowlands!
神、、、
Didn't realise Bill Gates could play guitar so well. What can't the man do?
they even have bill gates in the band
The vocals are dreadful. I’ve seen Fannies live several times & seen loads of tube uploads but here they sound weak & out of key
Sparkys' Dream sounds better than the record, so I have to disagree.
@@seancurran6727The sound is great. Dodgy vocals? They've never ever had bad vocals live or on record.
@@douglasnorrie5925 Well, I haven't seen all the stuff, so I can't say, but they sure are good singers. My favorite to watch lately is the live at BBC in Scotland version of He'll Be A Diamond.
I think there is a change to Normans voice. Their last album his voice is weaker and has a sort of slight vibrato to it verging on Vic Reeves pub singer. Still love them to death though.
Probably my favourite band, since I was 15. But Gerard's gone now, and Norman's voice was already shot to fuck here, almost as badly as Raymond's...
Yeah, I love the Fannies, but time to call it a day.
I like the band .....and sorry I'm going to shut on them ...every song is the same fu kin beat
