Here in australia.
The players here not relying on 1 on 1 isolation play. They thrive on crisp ball movement. Multiple screens and simple basketball style.. and the style of defense is not 2-3 zone. Mostly MAN TO MAN DEFENSE even in the streets.. unlike in the philippines. Mostly its a 2-3 zone when you play ball in the streets.. but i admire the skills and the talent of Pinoy ballers. Very good and they play very hard and their passion was so intense and their dedication to the game was phenomenal. But 1on1 dribble drive style really will not work againts CRISP BALL MOVEMENT. SCREENS and simple execution of offense

Got to give an advice.
Most specially to Pinoy ballers who played in the streets. Last time I was in manila. I've watched money game 5 on 5.. one thing I noticed. 2-3 zone is the defense. Then mostly it's the guard who actually run everything where the bigmen only just being a statue. Positioning himself in the shaded area but the pass always never came.. it's always 1on1 drive and dish out a pass or just dribble drive and score. There is no post up game.. and there is no ball movement.. the offensive set was stagnant. Once the ball was in the other player. They tend to watch what's he gonna do. And players never cut. Never moved. There is no specific set play.. unlike here in Australia. Once the ball was in the forwards or centers. There are still constant movement. And there was POST UP PLAYS.. Which I never saw in manila.. which is why the BALL MOVEMENT. TEAMWORK and good amount of SCREENS will make a team win every time..

I'm not againts what coach Mavs is doing or teaching. It's great..
But still basketball is a team game. Let involve 3-5 positions in the floor. Not just 1 or 2 guys facilitating. Crossover and exibition dribbles won't work againts a tough man to man defense.. take a look at your GILAS pilipinas team. Imagine they can't still manage to pull out an upset againts EUROPEAN and AMERICAN TEAMS. And got a hard time againts AFRICAN TEAMS Which is long and athletic.
Because the style was pure street ball.. time to change your culture. Hopefully the coaches from your schools and universities try to apply new system.. which is BALL MOVEMENT. TEAM WORK. GREAT EXECUTION and try to master polished Outside shooting .
And congratulations to you 🇵🇭 team for once again ruling ASIAN BASKETBALL last time. To me you are still the #1 hoop land in Asia..😉👍❤️🏆
@@mrboo3049 Yup! we need to learn to play as a team in all levels here. Only UAAP College teams here plays team based system. Even our PRO leagues are mostly iso plays and pick n roll.

Another thing I noticed. It's the GUARDS who ruled BASKETBALL in your soil.. it's very evident. guards are so skilled the way they dribble. The way they move. It's very very exceptional🏆👍🤜🤛♥️.. while THE BIGMEN centers or mostly power Forwards what I've seen when I was in manila.. relied mostly in HIGH LOW PLAYS so DEEP underneath. That Lob pass and power to go up and finnish was their bread and butter.. no POST UP PLAYS. which is why it's so hard for the bigmen to dominate.. here in Australia. Even the bigman are undersize. They are polish enough to POST UP And even run a play for them. By isolating in the POST.. BALL MOVEMENT is very evident and strategic . BIGMEN who is great in THE POST wether if it's in the pros. Amateurs or even in the streets.a great post player is a great decoy or a great equalizer for man to man defense to break it.. that's why I also like your man JUNMAR FAJARDO.. his very skilled post up player. Very high IQ and he uses his power and height to his advantage...

Pwede po humingi advice? 26 na po ako already working yet nangangarap parin akong maging isang professional na basketball player ive been playing this game since i was 8yo hanggang high school lang ako naging varsity player sa college hndi ako napili pero everyday naman akong naglalaro minsan kahit naulan practice shooting lang all im asking gusto ko lang ng opportunity to showcase my talent im willing to give up on my job kasi 5yrs nadin ako dito sa trabaho katulad ng karamihan nangangarap parin ako pakiusap need ko lang ng everyday training para bang competitive community league 🙏🙏🙏 Lucena quezon province po area ko sana may malapit po dito na league 😭😭😭
