  • Robert Dilts (NLP developer, trainer, author and world renowned thought leader) explains how and why different types of support are needed to effectively produce and manage change at the various Logical Levels .
    You will discover when Caretaking, Coaching, Teaching, Mentoring, Sponsoring or Awakening is most appropriate.
    Learn WHY some interventions fail, especially after childhood trauma.
    (Please watch the previous Logical Levels video interview before this video to understand the concept deeply).
    This model changes thinking, behaviour and learning like no other.
    Trauma percolates the content and demonstrates why parenting, mentoring, coaching, care taking, guiding, sponsoring and awakening serve different purposes. You will discover how to be most effective and why.
    Interviewed by Helen Oakwater, author of Bubble Wrapped children, they explore how each level is impacted by trauma which will reframe your approach and understanding of trauma.

      Thats such a lovely comment Scott. Thank you. Robert is an extraordinary pioneer in this field. His ability to create models and explain human 'functioning' transforms lives. I was first trained by him in 2003; it was so powerful I did my NLP trainer with him in Santa Cruz, California the following year. Transformational. I feel so grateful for all the learnings.

    Loved this! There is something beyond magic when people see you for who you are and you are able to see people for who they are. That is the basis of healing

    What's the best way to provide sponsorship for improving identity level for grownups? Can it be done through coaching, therapy or some other modality?

    Hello Helen, it is really a great video and I enjoyed the way Robert explains the Logical Level. May I ask for permission to put the CZcams video link (both this one and Part 1) into my training material as the "Recommended Readings", as a reference for the participants?

    Hi Helen, which of Robert’s books or any other books would you suggest are the most powerful for changing beliefs? Thanks

    • @AMMHanssen
      @AMMHanssen Před 4 lety

      @Brown Panther Sleight of mouth is more about word patterns. For Identity level sponsorship and trauma treatment I would rather recommend: The Hero's journey and "Beliefs, pathways to health and well-being"

    • @AMMHanssen
      @AMMHanssen Před 4 lety +1

      Beliefs, pathways to health and well-being or The Hero's Journey.

    • @HelenOakwater
      @HelenOakwater  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi, sorry for delay in response. Annemie is right. Belief and pathway to wellbeing is a classis . Sleight of mouth is more language patterns. Also Coach to Awakener. .... Better still go train with the man. He is wonderful. Same on and off a platform. Also depending on where you re , Suzi Smith s wonderful as are Tim and Kris Hallbom
