I’ve always appreciated Kate Middleton- she reminds me of my best friend (the best human being I know), who’s so down-to-earth, funny, and sweet. I’ve always seen her as the epitome of class. She will make a a fantastic queen one day. But for someone like me, Kate isn’t relatable. She’s always been like my best friend: someone I respect, adore, and aspire to be like one day, but we come from different worlds.
What bothers me is that people compare Meghan to her, as if Kate is better than her. As a mixed woman with the same birthday, Meghan is so relatable to me. Her identity issues, her love for political activism stemming from her own experiences.. she gives me hope that I can find a wonderful person for me after finding professional success..

In my opinion, I think that Diana would have been very happy with the choices her boys made in the two women that they have married. I can only imagine how wonderful of a mother in law she would have made, and I'm sure she would have had very special relationships with each of these beautiful ladies.
It was no secret how close Diana was with her two boys before her tragic and untimely passing. Looking back on some of the photographs and video's of that time - it is pretty clear how much she loved and cherished William and Harry - and they her as well.
(Anyone recall the card atop of her flower-covered coffin that read, "Mummy" - which was a note from 12-year-old Prince Harry??? Yeah. That was an absolute heartbreaker.)
It could just be me, but I see quite a few remarkable resemblances to Diana in the both of them... Not so much in their physical looks - but in some of the same mannerisms, characteristics and traits that she once had. Not to mention the way William and Harry both seem to have the same enormous heart that their beloved mother was worldly renowned for having.
I really think that Diana would have been so very proud of the noble men her boys have grown into - and I'm sure she would have cherished and doted on her precious grand-babies as well.
