- Two of the baddest cars in the dunes compete in a series of 3 consecutive races to claim the title of "The Fastest Sandcar in Glamis" of 2017. The 2000+ hp 2 seat mid-engine Alumicraft sandrail AKA "Blackzilla" and the 2076 hp 2 seat rear-engine Racer Engineering sandrail AKA "Hater Maker."

They do a rolling start because they have better control of wheelies. A standing start would be uncontrollable.

How much faster can they get? Looks like 1500-1800 hp is about the limit for useful hp. Looks like they need more wheelbase and more paddle.

I'm not sure exactly what speed in this race, but I've seen other races out there that looked similar. Based on those other runs (radared at about 135mph), I would guess that these cars are clocking about 140 at the finish line. They're capable of faster though, as they are literally wheeling through the finish line

Way too good sounding cars. From the motor cam the loosing car when opened up just doesn't hit as hard as the other one. Sound wise.

The car is too light in the front. Balance the car out better. Keeping the front end down and having a lower center gravity would help a lot.

SVTsupercharged it is balanced, If they put more weight in the front, it won't handle well going over dunes at slower speeds

The roll in is safer and not as hard on the cars. Otherwise, you'd have noobs popping wheelie stands from the word go, and fish hooking into the crowds on the sides.

2076 HP LOL, I'd rather see the dyno on this than wheelie mobiles. Maybe somebody should think about engine placement on these things. Obviously if you didn't have to let off on the gas it would go faster. But 2076 HP uh huh, believe it when I see it do a video when it's on the dyno and stop with all the nonsense.
