I’m a huge fan of Lorrie Morgan. I’ve seen a couple of concerts when she came to Canada. She is my all time favourite female country singer. A picture of me without you and 5 Minutes are 2 that come to mind but I knew every word to most all of her songs. I wish her well and hope that her happiness now is lasting and true. Your absolutely right. Hick-Hop sucks, so much, that as an alternative of staying on their own side of the tracks, they should rather ride those tracks straight off the highest cliff of the Grand Canyon, never to be heard from again.
I got so fed up with the hip-hop intrusion into 'country'..now I listen to 'the oldies' and gained an appreciation of jazz, sinatra, 50's dollop rock.

Black people, throughout history, have abundantly contributed a wealth of meaningful songs; not limited to any particular genre. George strait is my favorite male singer but Keith was my favorite at that time. I still love his music. He reminded me of my older brother and they both died the. Same way. As far as the Opry goes, back in the day life was slower than today. Everybody now finds themselves running all the time so yes, it is harder to fit in another appearence with sometimes more than 250 concerts each year. Plus, the competition is much heavier. I can understand her. I spent many years trying to get a friend to quit drinking. No it was not a woman. He did not quit until he passed away. We remained friends through the years but alcohol won. I agree that the music we hear now is not country. My favorite song she sings is a picture of me without you. She and George Jones both sang it. I have heard a few try it but they are the best. I was stationed 20 miles south of Nashville in the Air Force when she was born. To me she is the most beautiful lady country singer.

I’ve been the bass player in Lorrie’s band for almost 7yrs. She is more than just a wonderful country artist, she’s a devoted wife, a wonderfully loyal friend, a loving mother & loving grandmother. She’s one of the most genuine people I have ever known and is most definitely STILL playing and working…..these kinds of videos kinda anger me because they suggest a lot of false info. And while she is now very happily married to her husband Randy White, Keith Whitley was the love of her life at that time.

If you read her book, she loved Keith and did all she could to save him from his demons. I wish only the best for her and her babies. They are now grown, but always are Momma’s babies.
I think that Keith was her only true love. The others that followed were just something she tried to fill the void with.
Hoping that this last marriage is everything that she wants and that that she deserves.

Johnny Cash and Emmy Lou Harris are the best of the best Emmy it has been said could sing the phone book and make it sound good and I agree because there are a couple of songs on some of her cds that to me are a little boring but I don't skip them because of her voice .Lorrie definitely is a very good singer something in red is my favourite .

I used to work for George Jones he was 62 when I started with him. There was never any drinking problem's or any problems with him. He did a great show and was on top of his game. The only screw up in the band was Ron Gaddis. He was 100% crack head. He spent all his free time in crack town. Once George got Ron a audition a show case they call it to get Ron his on record deal and Ron didnt even show up. He was a rotten person If you really knew him. he did everything he could to get me fired because of his jealousy. Once me and a truck driver hid in the bleachers and watched Ron Tear up some of my equipment needed for the show. I all ways had back up equipment because of Ron. Once at Opry land show Ron detuned George's guitar right before the band went on stage to open up for George. By the grace of God I caught it in time again and George never knew. George liked Ron a lot and did all he could do for him. Once I saw him give Ron a new truck. Ron made fun of George all the time on the band bus behind George's back. It made me mad to hear it. Finally they had enough of Ron and gave up on him. Ron was done , I am just telling the truth Ron gaddis was a crack addict.
Blake should follow the rules, and I am glad Lorrie did this gesture, and I am happy for Lorrie Morgan's life turning around

I got to work security for a concert she had at the casino I work at and the lights came up on a slow song while I was standing in front of the light switch for the room and her current husband was such a cool dude and saw I didn’t do it and helped me calm down a bit. He was cool for that cause I was worried as hell since I just had got that job

Used to love her music. But when I went to see her in concert I changed my mind. Myself and a lot of other folks felt like she was rude and snobby toward the folks that had paid to come see her in concert. I was so disappointed I never spent another dime to go see her in concert again. Maybe she should take some lessons from Kenny Chesney or Travis Tritt to name just a few.
