    Hello, how do you make the connection when you need to do "injections" on a longer run, say 15 meters or 3 strips? I know you run wire from the power supply to somewhere in the middle of the run, do we make a cut and use solderless connector to snap in the wire to add power to the middle? Thanks much

    Good Video, i like that you shared the steps in order. I do want to ask if you can demo what is the correct way to design and setup multiple strips going to one receiver? controller? and power source what wire is typically used for power? How do you know if there is a maximum meters distance for each LED strips to match to a receiver ? Like for example every 30 feet of LED strips must go to a receiver? then from receiver goes into the wall? or hardwired into a swtich? How would a setup like that work

    Hi . Just watched your vid. There was no info with all my connectors but at least someone made the effort thanks. Shame you couldn't show the connector that connects wire to strip, i got the wires to go in the one side and clamped it closed but the side that is for the strip looks to have spikes but i couldnt get it to work . I had a couple of tries with the one that came in my kit and gave up . I may try soldering wires to the strip in a couple of places . I just thought i would ask your thoughts about putting a blob of hot glue over the strip at those slide in connections after doing the various assembly checks. Hope to hear from you. Rgds Don

    • @C2Tech
      @C2Tech  Před 3 lety

      Glad to hear that, as for pin connectors to wires, A) if you have another pin connector, join that to the wire side using heat shrink and using 4pin connector, connect those two
      Or B) you can just cut the pin connector side and now you’ll be left with wire. Now just gotta connect wire to wire using heat shrink as well.

    • @rickybastien2556
      @rickybastien2556 Před 3 lety

      @@C2Tech when you heat shrink wire to pin do you find it easier to do one wire/pin at a time or all of them at the same time?

    • @C2Tech
      @C2Tech  Před 3 lety +1

      I’ve tried both ways, I found that doing all 4 together is most efficient, because if doing 1by1 sometimes some wire loosen up again. So just line up everything and heat all if them at the same time, they’ll be receiving equal amount of heat also that way.

      You can either do similar to 6:00 of the video if you have the materials, or
      Option B) for exposed copper side, get a straight connector and join it. For the other side of connector, get a 4 pin wire (using heat shrink) and connect to it (similar to 6:00) of the video.
      Now for the PIN SIDE, cut the pin, you’ll end up with 4 wires, connect these 4 wires with the other 4 wires that we just connected with heat shrinks.
