I love the 6.5 goggles and have numerous pairs, but the roll offs need some work. Once you get the canisters open(they are ridiculously hard to open) they function wonderfully and the field of view is great. I can’t use them anymore because I broke the out rigger trying to get the canister open. Still at a loos on that open. Leatt has done a great job improving their products over the years please move the roll offs up the list. I really love the 6.5 goggles. I just wish the canisters were easier to open
Great goggles that I really like! But as a few others already have mentioned the roll of system is not as expected. I can’t get the canisters opened, it’s impossible without breaking something. In the process I broke off one of the mounting tabs on my brand new double layer lens. Really unhappy with this roll off system. And to remove the roll offs from the frame takes a screwdriver to bend the tabs holding them in place in the outriggers. I got a race in a week and it seems like I can’t use these goggles, also because the lens can’t be used with the roll offs anymore. The system really needs to be redesigned, urgently.
The canisters are going to be very difficult to open direct from the factory as the factory seal is very tight so that the canisters do not open at the slightest hit of roost or debris.
A small trick we found was if you lift UP each of the tabs in the opposite direction just slightly to create a gap under then press DOWN on the tabs they should then click open for you a bit better. We do understand that you may need to use a significant amount of pressure to press down on the tabs to release them from the clips closure but they will open.
Hate the roll off system, I really want to like these but, 5.5 roll off system broke within 3 rides and can't replace silly placate hinge which is screwed in which makes it a weak area. 6.5 better feel in fact love the direction you've got with modular setup and how to easily clip lens in. Again roll off Is poor. Im either breaking the system or spend 20 mins trying to release from the out riggers (which if you break you have to replace the whole goggle. which starts gettingg costly. Really want to love them but way too much hassle probably won't buy again.
WHY Leatt WHY? I bet you have more money than me to put in the developement of your system. I bought two pairs as it looked like a great deal att GGN (Gotland Grand National). I think I payed 90-100 Euros/pair. I have used Oakley for years and I guess they are the one to beat on the market. Is this what you came up with? First pair broke when I tried to take them apart. They can be used though. Second pair broke totaly and is now in the trash. How on earth can you release something like this? Im a guy at 85 kg, 185cm tall and I had to use a knife and screwdriver to get them open. What about a girl or a kid? I have not felt this angry about anything ever and Im 55 😤

I want goggles for a euc don't want this shitty film Joke of a system nor do I want pointy tab shit on my lens. I ordered what I assume is a winter snowboarder style hope it don't come with this film system garbage. I made the mistake of buying a pair of fox goggles they had this crap system too, lens got some water on it I used a high quality cloth and cleaner absolutely destroyed the lens one clean. Never again

if its an anti fog goggle then most goggle lens cleaner say not to use on anti fog. It does dry out..That said just cleaning with water I've got a lens full uf water I only ran it under a tap for 10 seconds only a few rides old.

I bought a pair and I can’t find how to open the canister how do you open them ?
omg it was so hard to open that canister!! took me 15 minutes.. this vid made it look so easy lol

Further more, just ran lens under a tap to clean and its now full of water used a handful of times. So disapointed.
