    I found your channel long ago. And you made a lot of outstanding videos. But this one is the best. Because it has pure “valve” atmosphere. Nice chatting, exploring pedals and stuff, positive vibes! Thanks a lot! You made my evening less sad 🤝
    And also question 😊 Don’t you want to try something else from the world of delays? I know that tc can cover everything and it’s truly swiss-army knife. But please try something else! 😊

      @mustyguitar  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thanks man! Greetings from Istanbul! There’s no reason to be sad if you’re healthy.
      I’m a lazy person when it comes to delay, I know there are plenty of great delays, even better than TC, I just got used to this and there’s no other reason for it actually

      @@mustyguitar Please, think about the new format: “Not only Gilmour”. I think it would be interesting to watch and listen your own music or kind of improvisation, and your thoughts about different stuff, musicians,something new (or old ) from guitar world!

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I tried both ways, didn't really hear much difference. I like to have it right after compressor but Gilmour has his uni-vibe after distortion pedals.

    Great video on pedal board setup with some of your newer pedals. Great tones! You've done videos on pedals and pickups. Would you do a video on the strings you use or have used?

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  Před 5 měsíci

      Strings are overrated in my opinion. If it's comfortable, that's the one for ya. When I change the strings, I use Gilmour signature, when I take the guitar to the shop, I don't even know what he uses.

      Thanks for responding to my question. Yes guitar strings are a personal decision especially when trying to bend your strings like Gilmour. Looking forward for your next video.

    Just purchased the Hi Power and was wondering where I should place it. My thinking was behind all my other overdrives and fuzzes , so they would be running into the Hi Power.

      Hmm, haven’t heard that my man. I don’t see much good comments about Harley Benton stuff, I haven’t tried ANY of the gear they make though, so it’s not my place to talk about them, I always have great experience with Thomann though..

      @@mustyguitar with their products, I've used 2 and they were both quite good,
      The first was a kit strat I bought as a first electric and it was alright but not perfect but I can't really say anything cause it was 60 pounds
      The second was a power suply I've been using for about 8 months and for 40 pounds its damn good and theres no buzzing or anything and I've had no problems with it and I would definitely buy another if that broke at all.

    I had a question I am knew to where the pedals go but I always thought stuff like phaser went after overdrive and distortion is that wrong?

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  Před měsícem +1

      uni-vibe and phaser can go after or before drive pedals. It depends on your taste. Gilmour used phaser and uni-vibe BEFORE dirt pedals till like mid 90s. He started using uni-vibe AFTER drive pedals then.
      for chorus and flanger, it's always after drive pedals

    Do you consider the Hiwatt side of the Hi Power a always on pedal to run your overdrives and fuzzes into or do you prefer them straight into Laney?

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I think with the right settings that can be arranged, but I prefer to use hiwatt side on its own or with certain pedals. That being said, watch the review about the pedal and you’ll see how I pair

    man I wish I was your neighbor :)) also, quick question, I heard the room sound around 22:37 and I hear a lot of strings too, is that because the volume is so low or camera is close to your strings than amp? I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit shocked when I heard your voice in the room sound. how does this sound so good with that low volume?
