N.E.S.T is an action-packed, looter-shooter mobile game that entrusts you to save Earth from an alien invasion after a rogue interstellar radio message leads them straight here. Unconventionally however, these aliens don't arrive via spaceships. Instead, large nests crash into Earth's surface, and it is up to you to destroy them all before the aliens regain their full strength, and take over our beloved planet.

I don’t know Sam... I now feel bad every-time I shoot an alien... it’s like I can sense their frustration and instead of shooting, I’d rather sit down with them and discuss their issues. Hopefully we can then come to some sort of an agreement which doesn’t involve taking over Earth... Will get back to you when Henry the Alien responds to my DMs... 🤔😂 And oh no... what have I done to myself! 😅

Spending a week on the intro is insane, but it was truly beautiful :) Lots of great improvements there Daniel! Achievements will be really nice, and that's interesting that the aliens will have all those emotions. I can see your stats classes are coming in handy with all those tables (and I'm intrigued by King Telekinis) . The social forum idea is really smart too, especially since everyone will be able to clearly find and see their own assets. Awesome work as always! The videos keep raising the bar!

It seems like every dev log series I watch begins to become infected with the 'dani' bug.
Don't get me wrong, Dani is awesome and great at what he does but everyone is starting to pickup his style
and it's getting tough to find an escape...

Dani pioneered a new style of devlog which the vast majority of people really enjoy! He’s just trying to make learning about game dev as fun as possible while still retaining some educational value, so I wouldn’t call it a “bug” haha... 😅 If you have any suggestions though, I’d really appreciate it! Always trying to improve! 😊
@@DanielLochner It's just making the video appeal to a younger audience. Don't get me wrong, doing whatever to improve your audience and to make it appeal to more is fine. I just wish there wasn't as many Dani clones and people curving their content so randomly to do what he does. Dani was a blessing to the game dev community. But devs are starting to copy him simply because he's doing well with a relatively simple process. It's just getting incredibly repetitive to find a new series and watch it from episode 1 up until 11 or so then randomly on 12 the style switches and begins to resemble a Dani video.

@@DanielLochner Every devlog video i watch copies exact same pattern that Dani uses and it pisses me off. Just because he got lucky with youtube algorithms doesn't mean you will be too. And his jokes aren't even funny. He probably stoles from the boomer meme pages in facebook.
