- UPDATED QUALITY VERSION: • Jesko, Cirque du Solei...
These are the "clown" acts from Saltimbanco, The number was originally developed by René Bazinet. I performed the role from 2002 until 2005... and again on occasion in 2006.
Music: René Dupéré
Costume Design: Dominique Lemieux - Zábava
I got the chance to see Saltimbanco in the arena setting May 17th of this year. I have always loved the Eddie character...Jesko and Amo both are excellent in that role!
I am from Romania and I saw the performance of Saltimbanco just yesterday. I loved the whole show and I didn't find this number or any of the others to long. I think 24 hours of Cirque du Soleil would not be enough for me. They are the best. Humanity must have done something very right to deserve the existence of such inspired, talented and dedicated people.
I show the show in Charleston in late April, 2009. I enjoyed every minute of it especially Jesko. However, I bought the DVD, and they only have the Western Cowboy scene.
Excellent physical humor and comedy. Timing on this is unbelievable!
i saw this tonight and gosh

I loved this show!!
I can't believe I had a chance to see it live this weekend.
I want to see it again!!! T_T
Even if it is not as good as the others, EVERY CIRQUE SHOW IS WORTH SEEING, even if it's not as good as the rest.

I recently saw this show and I LOVED IT!
I saw the show in 1996 in Amsterdam, holland..i was 4 at that time.i have seen Varekai and Draillion too, but Saltimbanco is the best :D

This was one of my favourite acts of Saltimbanco. Saw it in Adelaide, Australia last Sunday. I think the guy we had was Martin Pons (according to the Cirque Tribune) and he was fantastic.
I love the clowns "Valik and Valerik" from the Moscow State Circus-hilarious innocent fun!

I remember I had always been terrified of clowns until I saw Saltimbanco, and these guys, for some reason, I didn't find scary. They were...different, and I liked their performance a lot! :D

Questo clown è una forza!! Bravissimo!!
Do you really performed in the cirque du soleil?? Wow!! That's amazing! I admire Rene Bazinet a lot, since I saw Alegría, but I have to say you are really good!! I wish some day I can be as good as you!
i have a question to everyone... i have been to alot of the cirque du solei shows, quidam being my first one back in 99 ( i fell in love with this one and i still say its the best one)... i am going to see saltimbanco on friday and i am kind of nervous that it wont be as good... i heard that it wasnt as great as all the others... is it worth going??? please let me know IF IT IS GOOD OR NOT... thanks!
i think at 3:53 the door was a closet and a bunch of stuff fell on him.. and youre right, he is cute :D
@fleurlotus no matter how many times i watch this, i laugh untill i cry, thankyou
australia loves eddi
@EdgarRazorlip Agreed! The grand chapiteau... Is part and parcel of the experience! Without it... It's 'different'
Remember, as a tumbler you would likely be working at about 30% of your ability, and do the same movements all the time... hence, shoulder, knee miniscus and general repetitive injuries become a common thing... all the same, if you want to work in Cirque... casting at cirquedusoleil dot com is the place to write to... my suggestion, take as many dance/ballet classes as you can... it will help you immensely in your physical activities.
MUY BUENO DE ENSERIO UN KAGO DE RISA
are you really the famous JESKO!
Where can i get this cap ? Somebody know the name of this cap ?
@sampayu
Analogic sound effects, hahaha
sorry 1995 i mean
What kind of a question is this?
Is it good?.... Defined by what?
Each person will take out of it what he/she needs.
Saltimbanco was originally created in 1992 and has seen several incarnations, it is a different show than say Quidam. The cast at the moment is strong, the arena environment is adapted from the chapiteau, allowing it to go to markets otherwise not available with the infrastructure of the tent... If anything, compared to the other shows, it may be stylistically dated...Go see it!
Rede Stormlink Diniz No Acre E Sena Madureira Ok !
You do not have to amazing to work in CDS... you have to work hard, be a little bit in the "right time right place", and willing/able to do 10 shows a week.
Is this Mr. Bean's clown nephew?
the one in youngstown Ohio was better. i went to that one. its was cool.
Actually no. It is a subtle difference I admit, but a mime, in the common sense as I think you are referring to.. uses illusions to impress, to tell stories, etc. A clown, uses mimetic action as a tool, (as well as self ridicule, onomatopoeia, and absurd dramatic situation, to name a few) with the intent to make people laugh. A pantomime's motor is not necessarily to make people laugh. A clown's is... if it isn't, he is a character or something different... so just so you know, I am a clown.
I didn't know that i was famous... perhaps, you are confusing with someone else...
It's a trap!
Pl
no ta bueno el videp jajaajaj
@drea1286
I saw it today in basel, switzerland. a very bad show. boring and artisticly not on a hy level. A huge disapointment for 150 CHF.
Clever. Not really funny.
