I’m no fan of Rudy G, but looking at how super long his shirt appeared to be when she pulled about a foot of it out of his pants, it’s entirely possible that he was tucking his shirt back in. However, even that would be inappropriate to do in front of this woman.

I had trouble watching this movie because of the huge cringe factor. I understand "cringe" is Sasha Baron Cohen's style and yes, he's good at it, but I have trouble dealing, which is my problem. If you're a Cohen fan, I get why you like him. The parts I could handle were hilarious, but I'd tune out for a few minutes if there was something that made me feel shame on behalf of any poor sucker who didn't know he / she was part of a movie. I missed the part with Giuliani. Lately, I've had trouble watching the news because Giuliani is a cringe magnet. If I had to make a list of people who deserve ridicule, he'd be on it, but I still have trouble watching. He's probably got dementia. That isn't an excuse for all the harm he's caused, but it makes me feel sorry for him.

Too many edits and continuity issues for me to believe this scene. No explanation on why they're going to the bedroom (what you heard was dubbed), they didn't show what was being said prior to rudy asking for number and address, when borat barges in, Rudy is all of a sudden holding a folder... If they really "got" Giuliani dead to rights, then why chop the hell out of the video? Also, I don't even like Giuliani...
You realize they could have just recorded him on the phone asking "give me your phone number and your address" then dubbed it over and added to make him seem creepier. Giuliani is trash but there's no reason to edit and twist the truth to make him look bad.
Agreed, it's plainly obvious it's a stitch-up. Likewise I can't stand Giuliani, but it's annoying how people just choose to believe what they want to, rather than actual evidence.
I don't think it really had much effect on Giulini, and don't really care as he's done plenty more to deserve it, but the ganeral concept is pretty scummy. If something like this was presented as a real expose/documentary, it would be shot down in flames.
Likewise he ruined another guys life by labelling him as a terrorist(for which he apparently even received death threats), when there is no evidence whatsoever for that. He received a settlement later.

There's a reason why there's so much editing, the scenes where Cohen is supposedly running to intervene wasn't even filmed near where the interview was.
It's also incredibly 'coincidental' that the camera angles chosen are always the ones that look the worst but without showing anything, that he 'touches himself' immediately after having the microphone removed, that him getting up is cut immediately next to Cohen coming in(though not in the same shot of course), and it goes on and on.
While I don't feel sorry for Giuliani, as his behaviour in general is atrocious, and this wouldn't even make much difference - other people have had their lives ruined by the same misrepresentation.
I find it hilarious no one realizes this is a satirical film.
SBC said himself this film was his form of protest.. So satire used as a platform would be more accurate.

"Email" address was never uttered. It was just address and phone number which anyone would know is home address. The full quote is "you can give me your phone number and your address". You can try and argue they edited out the word email but I 100% doubt they did that especially when you hear how he says the word address along with the fact that why would anyone fully say email address when email on its own serves that purpose when speaking.
