    NOHA LYRICS
    Chorus
    Bhaiya Ghazi Na Raha
    Lut Gayi Sar se Rida
Goonji Karbal Mein Sada Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) ka
Brother Abbas (as) is no more
The veil has been snatched from the head
Echoes resound in Karbala, nothing belonging to Zainab ( s.a)remains
    Saani
Ran mein Sab Qatl Huwe, Koi Baqi Na Raha,
Aik Abid Kay Siwa Kuch Na Bacha Zainab(s.a) Ka
In the battlefield, all were martyred, no one remained
Except for Abid (as), nothing belonging to Zainab ( s.a) remained
    First Verse
Har Taraf Aag Lagi, Aliya Roti Rahi,
Dekh Kar Hasnay Laga, Be- Haya Shimr Shaki,
Jaltey Kheymon Se Huwa, Phir Se Ye Shor Bapa, Barsar e Karbobala, Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
Fire blazed everywhere, Zainab (sa) was weeping
Seeing this, the shameless shimr started laughing
From the burning tents, this cry was heard again, Nothing belonging to Zainab (sa) remained in Karbala
    Second verse
Teer se Nehr Hua Chay Maheene Ka Ali
Dekh Kar Khushk Gala Pyaas Bhi Rote Lagi
Raakh Hathon mein liye aik Maa Bethi Rahi Uska Jab Jhoola Jala, Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
Ali Asghar (as), the six-month-old, was struck with an arrow by the river
Seeing his dry throat, even thirst began to weep
A mother sat holding ashes in her hands…
When his cradle burned, nothing belonging to Zainab (s.a) remained
    Third Verse
Ran Mein Pamal Hua Umm e Farwa ka Pisar
Khoon ki Mehndi lagi Uske hi Hathon per
Qasim e Ibn e Hassan Uska Nazuk sa Badan Dasht Mein Phel Gaya, Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
The son of Umm-e-Farwa was trampled in the battlefield
His hands were stained with blood
Qasim (as), the son of Hassan (as), his delicate body…
Was scattered in the desert, nothing belonging to Zainab ( s.a)remained
    Fourth Verse
Ali Akbar sa Pisar Dasht mein Zakhmi hua
Naiza Seene mein laga aur phir Toot Gaya
Jisko Atthara Baras Paal Kay Laii thi Wo Jawan Maara Gaya
Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
A son like Ali Akbar (as), was wounded in the desert
A spear struck his chest and then broke apart
The young man she had raised for eighteen years…
That youth was killed, nothing belonging to Zainab (s.a)remained
    Fifth Verse
Aayi Jab Shaam e Sitam, Lut Gaey Ehl e Haram, Bazoo Ghazi kay Kate , Khoon mein Dooba Alam,
Aayi Kheymon Se Sada, Shimr Se Ghazi Bacha, Has Ke Kehta Wo Kehta Raha , Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
When the evening of tyranny came, the people of the holy household were looted
Abbas’ (as) arms were cut, the standard was soaked in blood
From the tents, the cry came, save us from shimr, Oh Ghazi (as)
he kept laughing and saying, nothing belonging to Zainab ( s.a) remains
    Extra chorus
Beridaa Shaam Ki Galiyon Mein, Safar Zainab Ka
Without a veil, Zainab (sa) journeyed through the streets of Shaam
    Sixth Verse
Shaame Ghurbat Pe Likhun, Suwey Maqtal Pe Likhun, Ya Toh Bazaar Likhun, Kufa o Shaam Likhun,
Khud Kalam Roney Laga, Khoon Ke Ansoo Barmala, Jab Se Zaman Ne Likha, Kuch Na Bacha Zainab (s.a) Ka
Should I write on the evening of grief, on the place of battle
Or should I write about the bazaar, or Kufa and Shaam
The pen itself started crying, tears of blood flowed
Since ZAMAN wrote, nothing belonging to Zainab ( s.a) remained
