Watching this gave me the great idea you had.... to install on the inside of the garage. Pretty sure the instructions are for outside installation..... I'll have to modify just a tad to keep the door from wrecking the screen though....
@Hardcore Garage I'm not saying you're wrong! I kinda think that the instructions tell you on the outside so they fail sooner so you have to buy em over and over again, lol. Again, thanks for making the video!
$200. I just bought the same thing from the same company but mine has three panels. I got it for $23 it should have been. I bought it off Amazon but it's the same brand
If you install the velcro strips about 3 inches far out away from the garage door you might not have that problem when the garage door going up. Just some tips.
The pretty much only go in one place with this design. My other option wouldn't have it on the outside of the opening. But I wouldn't like seeing velcro on the wood.
Just a thought with mine I attached it to the bottom of the garage when the door goes up the screen goes when you're not using it I pull it back to the top of the garage door and attach it with bungees
@@HardCoreGarage great video also if you live in a area where you don't want people to see what is in your garage you can spray paint a mural with light colors that reflect from the Sun on the outside of the screen and then you cannot see in cuz your eyes focus on the mural and create a black background
I just put mine in and it sucks that it gets stuck to the door when it goes up. I usually go in and out of the garage so I’ll need to stop doing that. A piece already tore from me pulling it down off the garage lol oh well! Great video
@@HardCoreGarage The Velcro is God level Velcro for sure but the sticky is ok. My wife wants me to take it all down and ask for another one from amazon but I don't wanna go through the hassle. My brother in law used staples and says it works. They give you three straps on each side but if it's velcrowed to the side, You can only use the first two MAYBE. Love not having bugs in the garage though lol
@@michaelbarry1518 good they should be mounted according to the manufacturers instructions. Mine is protected inside when not in use. Let me know how full of bugs it gets when you open it up next spring. Lol
You can drive right through it if you want. Or roll up one side or both. The only issue I had, last year the velcro came off.. ill be using a power stapler next time.
Love the vid and the door screen is great 👍
Thanks man

Hahaha no they mount on the inside. You're supposed to roll it up when using the garage door.

Had me laughing and thinking. Great demo vid, man. Sick trucks too!
I have been thinking about getting one of these. I love being in the garage but them Texas skeeters ain't no joke lol
No doubt!
Thanks for the video and love your cat.
Thanks for watching! Hahaha all the animals are crazy! Lol
I like the idea of attaching to the bottom..
I wanted to install one but couldn't figure how to drive the car in and out.
Either drive right through or roll it up

Thanks for the video dooe trucks

Mine isn't torn, but it definitely sticks and gets pulled up..its removing the velcro from the lower corners. Gonna need to staple it to the wood.

Will this screen scratch your car's paint?
Great question. I wouldn't drive through it with any show quality paint jobs. However it doesn't seem to bother my s10s with factory paint.
i installed mine on the outside of the garage doors wood trim. gives it plenty of gap. doesn't stick to the door.
And when not in use you roll it up and leave it on the outside?
yes sir
Well see technically you're supposed to roll it up when not in use.. rolled up on the inside it wouldn't rub the door either... lol
I’ve had one for 6 months, wanna come install mine??? Lol
Pretty cool.
My garage door is not wide enough, nor gets used enough to justify one.
I enjoy working with the door open, but my house is above the shop so I'd prefer to keep out the bugs!
Did u reinstall the screen on the outside of the garage door? I thought the screen was on the inside.
Not sure how you'd install it on the inside of the door and why. That wouldn't do anything? Lol they mount to the header and roll down.
Pretty sure he meant on the outside of the garage.
I believe it gets attached to the outside trim…
Hahahah then it would be out in the weather when not in use. And installed improperly as per the instructions. (;
@@HardCoreGarage I just installed one this week and per the instructions it gets attached to the outside….

do you have a link to the door?
I dont. Got it from amazon.. there's a lot of options
How is it with getting a car out of the garage? Please comment back. Thank you

how many push pins did it come with
A bag of them. I didn't use any. I may go back and add some Staples near the ends if the velcro where it attaches to wood
does it block drizzles?
No idea man ive got like 3' awnings over both garage doors somthe rain is never against the house
@@HardCoreGarage i see ok thanks for the fast response.
Dude you talk to much and don't seem very bright
