Thanks for the video. When I was a kid in the '70s, my dad did custom hay baling in NE Oklahoma. My brother and I took turns raking several hundred thousand bales for him over 12 years with a JD 640 rake with a dolly wheel, pulled by either a Farmall Super C with tricycle front end or a JD 820 diesel. The rake was incredibly durable and aside from a few rake teeth, was almost trouble free. After about 10 years, the U-joints in the drive shaft needed to be replaced, along with the bearings on the rake bars, and later the shifter yoke in the gear box failed and had to be replaced. My dad bought it new from a local JD dealer, and for some reason it did not come with traction tires, but it worked fine without them. The single dolly wheel made turning on corners and in tight spaces easy, even for a 10-year old kid. It was a great rake. Have a good summer.

It seems like a solid design. After sitting for so long, everything is putting up a fight.

Hey Mark and Kelly! Amazing how many outbuildings, equipment and lawn you have but you both keep everything so nice and tidy. Everything just looks great. Thanks for the video. So sorry for your animal loss. Debbie Yarham

Going to have a nice rake when you get finished. The smoke in the air was kinda bad for those few days. Had some big fires in northern Idaho that left some homeless. Tasty looking pizza sandwich...

The heat has been brutal here also 96-99 day after day,but its better than shoveling snow any day. We had a wind storm 7 days ago that wiped out hundreds of thousands of trees here and knocked out power city wide. I would guess 3/4 of Omaha had to throw out fridg and freezers (food). 14,000 are still without power til friday they are saying. Talked to a lady at the store today and she got power on last nite and she was buying food. 6 1/2 days with no power ,no a/c We got our power on 4 1/2 hours after storm but lost flashing and our garden is just hammered......poor tomatos and dill.
