JMU’s orientation is kind of similar to UA’s, most of orientation students were separate from their parents they had a special program for the parents and we also had the option of uploading our photos for our photo Id which I loved bc I suck at taking photos lol 😂😂
I’m going to my freshman orientation at JMU on the 29th! I’m excited but also really nervous 😅 unfortunately we also have to leave at 4 something in the morning so…not as excited about that
Noelle.ki Thank you!! And I chose JMU because it feels like summer camp!! I know that sounds really weird, but JMU has the perfect southern comfort. It really feels like a home away from home; it’s safe, supportive and everyone here wants you to thrive! The university truly cares about the students and everyone takes pride in this place. There also aren’t too many students that you feel small, but there aren’t too little to where you feel like you’ll bump into someone you don’t want to see🤣. It’s perfect! We also have the best football/social gatherings of any VA school, so it’s always easy to have fun! I really don’t think you’ll bump into any JMU alum that regretted their 4 years here. We all dread leaving this place!! 💜💜
Kinda nervous about how hot it’s supposed to be… how much of it is outdoor? Can we go inside if we need to? I don’t do well in the heat. Also, kinda random, but how often would you say there is access to a bathroom? Like every 2-3 hours? Thank you! 💜💛
I’m not sure what it’ll be like post-pandemic, but when I was there, a portion of it was inside and a portion of it was outside! I’m assuming this year a lot of it will be outside, especially because JMU loves the quad and the outdoors! And there will be plenty access to the bathroom don’t worry
