- Welcome everyone to another adventure this time we are heading east to the small cowboy town of Joseph, Oregon. As life long Oregonians this was by far the most beautiful area of the State either of us have ever seen. The towns of Joseph and the sister city Enterprise, Oregon did not disappoint.
While there we toured both towns, took a trip to hells canyon, went on a tram to the top of the Wallowa Mountains. There is a reason they call this the Alps of the Northwest. We spend some time in Wallowa Lake were we paddle boarded. We also toured the excellent Wallowa State Park that offers RV and tent camping. And of course it wouldn't be an Adventure of J & K without a stop to the local brewery. This time it was Terminal Gravity. What a fun place with great food, beer, and entertainment.

Thank you folks very much for your posting this video of Enterprise and Joseph.
When I was 14 in 1984 I was with my church group and we drove through and stopped in Enterprise and Joseph before heading out to the Hurricane Creek Trailhead. We had 2 pack horses to help haul the bigger things. And we all had our own backpacks we had full of our own things. We backpacked in about 13 miles near one of the lakes and setup base camp. A few of us on the last day we were there also hiked to the top of Eagle Cap and there was a sign in " book" there also. I/we hiked a total of 30 plus miles that last day.
I'm from a small town in Oregon too and I like the towns of Enterprise and Joseph. I'm planning on visiting both of these very nice towns soon. I'm born and raised in Oregon and I really like these towns a lot.

WOW!! My family stayed at the Lake Wallowa Campground when I was a TEEN! I don't think we got out ON the water though. We took that tram ride up the mountain too!! Thanks for another great video J and K!! I wish I could move back to Oregon!

I was born in Joseph, and moved away when i was young. But have relatives that live there, and visit every year. Just wanted to point out that the docks you are talking about... to the best of my knowledge are private.

We checked with the team at the marina yesterday, there are a couple of docks for public use and the rest are private.

This video is a bit misleading: Most of the floating docks are PRIVATE.
Thanks for the clarification on that Steve. That is too bad that someone can buy a dock on a public lake.
How the private docks came to be is a bit more involved than one might think. And it all came about quite a few years ago.
