As lifetime Buick owner, that is one of many I will always❤.
Cool car! When I was little I loved my family's wagons then from my late teens to my 30s I hated them & wouldn't be caught dead in one. Now I'm almost 50 & wish I cared enough back then to save them. My favorite was our 1977 Pontiac Grand Safari. It only had the 301 but it was maroon metallic with the wood grain sides with ox blood morrokide interior with power everything. My dad just about checked every box. I can't remember the price but it was pretty expensive for the day. That car was beautiful. Whenever I see a cool wagon on the road nowadays I smile.
I don't remember many of these when they were new. Had a neighbor with a Pontiac wagon that had the slant 4 and in total I think this is the fourth one I've seen.
Funny you say you wouldn't want a Pontiac engine in a Buick when the fact is you got a Buick engine in a Pontiac. There was no difference in the two. But the Olds had different heads and intake manifolds.
The gold valve covers? Out of all the ones I've owned and worked on I never saw that. They were a matt silver to match the aluminum engine. I had a few chromed but somebody painted those.
Like soo much this video, i have a Buick Special deluxe Wagon 62 in Spain, came fron american air base in Madrid, the only difference its mine its painted in original colour "Rose Camelot", now its in restoration proccess
Thank you so much I’m really glad you liked the video, good luck with your awesome project!
In a Louis de Funes movie with Bourvil there is a '63 Buick Special at the French-Italien Border in Vintimille.
A 3800 V6 Buick engine would be perfect for that car.
Why? It already has the perfect engine
Had a 215 in a 73 Vega gt. Sounded bigger and meaner than 215.
beautiful, and rare!! the best were the later oldsmobile, and buick Vista cruisers, buick was the best. just me...
cheers 🍾🍾🍾🏳️🌈
Beautiful wagon man!
Beautiful car!! Great video
Thanks man!
Wow really cool wagon like the paint treatment as I am building a 63 nova wagon model as a pro street and been wondering where to divide the two tone paint job very similar wagons even though this one is a Buick super cool!! This one is so nice it would really be hard to cut it up for a pro street but I can see it!!!
A prob street Nova wagon would be awesome! I’m glad you liked my video
Not a Dynaflow! A Dual Path!
Wrong wheels and hubcaps. I’ve owned two of these. Great little cars. You didn’t want to overheat
That aluminum engine otherwise they were pretty good. The weak part was the automatic transmissions. The Dual Paths just weren’t any good and a lot of Transmission Shops of the time refused to work on them.
Buck what year?
1962
@@moparnut6286 thank you. 😊
A lot of errors here but nevermind. Those transmissions were called Dual Paths. Not Dynaflows. Very likely the worst automatic transmissions ever produced. Used from 1961-63.
❤ the car, hate the presenter.
😂 Same! Glad you you liked the car…and I’ll make sure to fire the presenter.
