I think we’re just accepting that Gui is now part of the Corridor team as he never gets introduced as a guest anymore 😎
When he shows up looking that fresh, he’d better be on the team. 🔥 fit on point.
Did Gui have an eye injury or somethin? 17:35
That's because he is!
(Vin Diesel voice) "He's not just a part of the team. He's FAMBLY"
It's always great to see Gui on the show.
Love that Gui is basically a part time cast member for this series.
I agree. Him being a part-timer is perfect. He fits the energy and humour of the group so perfectly, and then he just has such great insights.
17:35 whatsup with his eye??? has it always been like that? I'm just noticing it now lol
He looks beaten up, look at his right eye. Are you all right Gui?
@@ildalailamer8341 he's a stuntman
He's fine
Come to think of it, He is a good replacement for Clint.
Y'all should do "Sound Designers React!"
Like: How they made the T-Rex or Godzilla roar; How they make body sounds for creatures that don't even exist; Even the subtle ways they have to add basic clothing, movement, and walking sounds into animated films.
You know those punching sounds in old action movies? WHAT IS THAT?
I would LOVE to see an audio-centric react like this!!
Seconded!
I think it's a combination of a metal pipe swinging for the whoosh, a pile of walnuts cracking for the bone cracking sound, abd some celery being crunched. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think a guest on _Mythbusters_ explained it
T-Rex Jurassic park I think was a combination of (literally) lions and tigers and bears roaring.
the "body hit" sounds wasn't that like some Foley artist punching a thawed steak or something?
9:43 "The first time, they said the car didn't look like it was going fast enough for it to kill me, so they wanted it a second time."
Props to stuntpeople doing what they do!
yes, but also props to stunt women for doing what they do in much less padded gear!
Corridor crew is literally "the friends we made along the way"
With Gui as the first of the many friends.
Loved the arc where Carmichael came back. Legend
Gui saying "you came here for us" like he's a member of Corridor Crew makes me happy
The corridor community consider him family
Gui is great. Except now I can't unsee him in all his roles, sometimes multiple different henchmen in the same film. But I always love his reactions to stunts he hasn't seen.
@@justinstoll4955 Every time I watch a movie and I spot him I go "Oh hey Gui!" and it takes me out of it for a second
@@GodBear97 I kinda want him to take up small roles as an actor/stuntman. Would be cool.
@@fingmoron Paper Tigers on Netflix.
I love how she smiles so much when she talks about her work, she needs to be in more episodes.
My Mum always told me to 'talk with a smile'. I kinda get what she's saying now.
Yeaah!! She's just so lovely, it's so good and heartwarming seeing someone talk about their craft with some much passion!
She seems so genuine and talented and just such a nice person overall. Really happy to be shown more of the female side of the industry
You love to be shown females, eh?
She seems so fun to hangout with. Her energy and laughter is contagious.
You mean fake tiktoker energy?
@@ashvinvaidyanathan7239 who hurt you ?
@@ashvinvaidyanathan7239 doesn't matter.
Agreed, very watchable. I’d love to see her back again.
she's so adorable
Would love to see Cassandra more on the show, her energy and enthusiasm is so fun. The female stunt perspective of the stunt world seriously needs more rep, glad you guys are really bringing that out
I vote if they put Cassandra on them I won’t skip the ads 😆
Fr it was a good episode though
Definitely, she was great. Hope she comes back again!
Couldn’t have put it better. This was awesome.
It's so crazy to see Cassandra here because she's done so much work towards her craft. I remember subscribing to her channel when she was just a vlogger and how she would talk about her dream of being a stunt-woman and here she is accomplishing it.
"so much work towards her croft"
I remember years and years ago watching Nerdzrl vlogs about starting her journey into stunt work, so It makes me so unbelievably hype to see her absolutely kicking ass these days!!
And this episode was so so so good she's a great explainer and hilarious!!
How good? Sooo good!
I see Cassandra for the first time on the show and I already love it how she explains things. I hope to see more of her on Corridor Crew.
@@Jrej_dev Ayyyyy! Happy!
That's how I found this video! Really proud of her :)
I first discovered her through an old Charlieissocoollike video and it's so nice to see both of them doing so well now, it makes me wanna cry
Cassandra needs to return. She has amazing stories to tell.
Great stories, great energy and reactions, great tips and techniques,
Agreed :)
Omg yes! I actually never thought about how hard it is to add padding to stunt woman costumes🤯
Thought they shot with the guests long enough to get 2 or eps from them.
I just love how excited and enthusiastic she is talking about the stuff she worked on. That energy is infectious.
She sounds fake bruh. Kinda cringe imo.
@@fzz6716 You sound like you've never been proud of anything you've done...this woman is clearly vibin and enjoys what she does, bro. Seeing as you're the only comment bashing her, it's fair to assume the problem is you, not her.
@@MusicLife1229 obviously but some of the guys agree in the comment. She acts childish but even i do that when i am high.
@@fzz6716 bruh how does she sound fake. She knows her stuff, she’s excited about it, and that’s all disregarding the fact that her literal profession is to do things that are not fake lmao.
She has the exact same energy and mannerisms as most of the dudes in the corridor crew. Even more dialed back in the “childish” sense than most of them.
She’s awesome, you guys definitely need to have her back on the show!
I love the professional chemistry between Cassandra and Gui! Please bring them back.
That car hit scene really shows the importance of a good coordinator watching out for the safety of the crew
Cassandra has awesome energy. You have to make her a regular for Stunt* React. Maybe get her in with another one of the amazing stuntwomen you've had on the show...
She's humbley badass in the most Canadian way possible.
For real, if she isn't in Canada, she should be on the couch with these folks.
She looks a lot more like Daisy Ridley than her actual stunt double from the SW movies
I would love to see Zoe Bell on to explain some of her kill bill and Xena stunts
imo she's the best stuntwomen so far thats been a guest i also hope she'd become a regular like gui
So she’s actually a very good actress, but she’s also an awesome stunt person. Stunt actor. She straight up did a full body burn standing still. Man! She’s up for anything!
When Stuntmen React came out I was flashed by how cool this is to watch. And Gui and the other guys are cool, but Stuntwomen React is even better. Please feature more women in this show. And I'd love Cassandra to return. She is amazing! 😍
I remember watching Cassandra Ebner on her channel NerdsRL where she would always talk about how she would love to be in stuntwork, training so hard, and getting excited having a 2 second background role with only her back showing.
Watching her on this couch actually gave me chills.. Seeing someone live out their dream is just a joy.
i used to watch her too! so dope that she's become successful at what she loves
Need more stuntwomen react! The fact brought up of less clothing, less safety is huge.
Cut to the dude that falls on his back from Drunken Dragon whose costume includes a pillow backpack
They mentioned that on a couple of episodes.
Cassandra Ebner used to film youtube vlogs of her training to be a stuntwomen! I had completely forgot about her small channel years ago but she just looked so goddamn familiar that it reminded me. Incredible that she became a professional!
Oh my goodness I love Cassandra so much! I found her through the Croft short film like five or six years ago and ever since then I've spotted her in so many different things! She was my window into stunt work and ever since then I'm just so amazed at the work and skill it takes to do what they do. Stunt people are truly amazing.
I love how upbeat the stunt women they've brought on are. Just hearing these super buff, competent women who look like they could beat me up giggle and bounce with excitement while talking about falling through a bus or onto stone is amazing. And I love the respect they both have for her. I've worked out consistently, but had to take a break due to illness. This will definitely be my motivation to get back into it!
Nicely put!
I've worked with Cassandra over the years in mocap, shes such a great performer and treats the set like a professional playground which makes the whole shoot fun, even for production :)
I’m surprised no one commented “r/thatHappened”
@@John-Doe-Yo probably because using Reddit related things outside of Reddit is kinda weird
@@sadflix8754 I see it all the time in yt comments
@@John-Doe-Yo yeah and it’s kinda weird
@@Overlysarcasticfox agreed
Cassandra seems to be not just a badass, but also a really cute and fun person. Super cool chick, loved hearing what she had to say. Hope to see her on the show again. ^^
What a beast of a stunt woman, she deserves all the credit she can get. Great work and personality.
Cassandra Ebner was awesome and should absolutely be invited back, especially with Gui.
After watching this series for a while and seeing what stunt performers go through, I think awards shows need to introduce a stunt category.
I think we'd need a Stunt Coordinator and Stunt Performer category. All of the stuff the performers do to stay safe and still be amazing is incredible. Some of the stories they tell about the coordinators though is inspiring. They put so much consideration into every aspect of ensuring their performers are as safe as they can be.
It's just a great industry full of wonderful and enthusiastic individuals.
There's been a push for Oscars to include Stunt Crew for years, still hasn't happened. Shame, they're the ones that really make movies and shows awesome. None of the physical stuff that gives moments the impact they need would be possible without them.
They say (not really sure, who "they" are) it's because of the dangerous nature of stunt work. In other words that it would promote increasingly more dangerous stunts, just to one up the other guy, while gambling with stunt persons' healths and lifes. Basically making stunt Oscars the "who can get closer to the death without crossing the line" competition.
@@Errol_cz I can easily see this point of view. You would need to approach it from a technicality point of view instead of a spectacle then. Kinda hard to judge though, I guess.
@@Errol_cz It is likely a valid concern. I remember seeing in early 2000's a sort of stunt awards gala show on TV. I think it was organized by WWE. The award for the best stunt went posthumously to a stunt performer who had died in a stunt. The film was xXx.
Even for a viewer that left a bitter taste on the award. First, I think it would be reasonable to call it a failed stunt. And more importantly, it would be a terrible message to the industry professionals, that they have to lose their life to get the biggest recognition for their work. I don't know if they ever had another show.
This might have been my favorite stunt people react yet, Gui is obviously the goat but this gal was so energetic and charming and added huge insight and fun to the episode
You're awesome Cassandra! I worked with Zoë and Dayna on Xena and yes, they are fantastic people. Zoë's hilarious and super caring about the people around her. I've always felt bad for the female stunties and their lack of padding. Maybe one day costume designers will think about the female stunties? Best of luck in your career, you're killing it! Oh and Gui's cool too but we all knew that :)
I love that Gui is being included regularly in the show. He's great and it's fun watching these videos.
He ruins it
@@JimmyJones666 You're the only one who thinks that. Go cry somewhere else.
Defensive little pricks you both are haha. It's pretty worrying when you both get so upset about my opinion that has nothing to do with the both of you lol. Or are you both just coincidentally 13 year old girls from high school?
@@JimmyJones666 '-'
@@soundaholixx lol
Cassandra is amazing! Love the enthusiasm and insight.
She's awesome. I love how fast she figures out the main issue with the Aeon Flux shot (overlapping action).
The chemistry between Gui and that lady 😁😁😁 i love it
Best trio in Corridor.
Mad respect for all stunwoman and stunman!
Also love Gui. He is so chill, humble and biggest fan of everyones work but in fact he is the strongest Marvel superhero.
I love her energy! Y’all should try to get a stunt coordinator on the show, to hear the perspective of a “leader” in stunt work
I second this ^
This was probably the most interesting interviews you guys have ever done. She’s really really good
Man, I used to watch Cassandra in her old vlogging days. It’s so cool and inspiring to see how far she’s come!
Cassandra was just too amazing for words and having Gui there for the "pro chat" was perfect. Hope you bring her back again. One of your best episodes yet.
This was absolutely delightful! Cassandra's energy was so infectious, I couldn't help but smile and laugh along with her stories and enthusiasm. She's a master of her craft and I have so much respect for her. Thanks for bringing her on! Hopefully she'll be back again!
Thank you so much for coming on the show Cassandra! It's so cool to hear your experience and input on the show!!! I hope you come back!
1) I thoroughly enjoy how Gui is just a part of the crew now. No introductions, just "Yeah, you guys know who he is."
2) I think Gui was lowkey smitten by her and trying to not be so woo'd by her presence.
Love the stuntwomen react episodes. As Gui keeps pointing out, the stunts they do with minimal padding makes some of their work particularly impressive to see. Also loving having Gui as a regular on the couch. He brings such a chill energy on top of his professional perspective.
Drunken Dragon is now going to be on my watchlist. How could I have missed such a weird gem of a kung fu flick?
it's a gem!
Right! I don't know how I missed it either.
HARD SAME
So happy you looked at Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Æon Flux! Two of my faves right there. And that V into reverse V rolling on the floor move is an extremely classic circus warm up that I love.
Please please please try and arrange Gui and Cassandra working together on something, they seem to be on the same page for a lot of stuff and there's some real mutual respect going on. I bet they would be a perfect collaborating pair for some action scenes.
Could be cool if you guys did like a series where you let your guest plan out and direct a couple of scenes and add effects etc for their personal sizzle reels (is that the right term?)
Wow, Cassandra is amazing! Those falls in the rocks were insane! There is a realness to her stunts that just hits me in the gut. You have to have her on more often.
Please have her on more often.
More. Often.
More.
when they have to have her? (MORE OFTEN maybe?)
@@leonefurlan137 That's brilliant! I should have said that. Damn.
:-)
@@MikeWallaceDev 😆
Gui is back and I’m living for his laugh as always!!
That synchronzied "Oh Wow" at 9:42 is just great.
Cassandra is the first person in the entire channel that I want to hug.
My heart
For a stunt / driving stunt episode I think you guys should look at a classic: Blues Brothers. I watched that movie recently and was pretty baffled at some of the extremely costly explosions, car wrecks and general mayhem. It holds up really well, because its all done for real
It's actually the most expensive car chase in cinematic history.
Yoooooo yes please, such a good suggestion
@@birdmanblizzard3618 Thats an amazing fact considering how big budget modern films are thank you for educating on that one.
Well, they were on a Mission from God, after all! ;)
this is so weird, I used to watch cassandra's vlogs and seeing her on the sofa is wild but it's great to see her achiving her dream as a stuntwoman
In like 10 years I’d imagine most stunt people are gonna have watched corridor at soon point lol
Watching the last one reminds me of Ninja Assassin. One of the most entertaining martial arts movies I’ve ever seen. Complete with tons of CG throwing stars. God I love that movie.
Cassandra is absolutely lovely. I hope she returns for another soon, she's so passionate!
Oh wow. I remember watching Cassandra's CZcams videos from way back when. Always fascinating amazing to see where and how far someone from CZcams goes.
Yeah I used to watch her vlogs wayyyy back and actually met her a couple times like 10 years ago (once just by chance at a cafe near my work) so it was such a shock and delight to see her on this series! She''s such a cool person so it's great to see her doing so well professionally and meshing with the Corridor folks as well.
CZcams is a great way to build a portfolio to show people.
Right? I remember her obsession with Tangled was strong. It's so cool she got to work on Peter Pan and Wendy.
Cassandra was such a cool and fun guest, would love to see her again in the show!!
Please keep Gui as a regular on "stuntwomen/men react" love having him as a regular.
I always love watching these. I like seeing behind the scenes and breakdowns for stuff but also the energy and excitement people get while talking about it.
My girlfriend and I just re-watched Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters with Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton. Totally forgot how brutal the practical stunts were, you guys should totally cover any of the fights in it (although you could probably get an entire video out of that movie alone)
It seems that they have an algorithm program so we won't see very soon the stunts of this movie, I already asked 4 this movie & another TV series like 4 or 5 times but still nothing... keep asking 4 it & maybe we'll have it sooner & 10x! 😎👍
@@sammuelkain They probably the suggestions from the people who pay them. Maybe become member of their website if you want a better chance.
I love this series so much, not only do they know their vfx, they are so good at making guests comfortable and having them gush and talk about their accomplishments. You can tell everyone enjoys being on the couch
I LOVE that you guys added chapters to the video for the different movies you react to.
We need an episode with both of the OGs. Eric AND Gui together.
Cassandra is great, we all love Gui, and props to the team for the absurd insert shots like Niko eating the apple!
I love that Croft fan film, great twist at the end. Really awesome having Cassandra on.
This is one of the best review of stunts! Hope to see her back reviewing more!!
She's awesome, funny, very humble.
Great guest again, great job guys.
09:41 love that simultaneous "oh wow" between Nico and Gui
Suggestion: ICarly, I know it sounds weird but there is a stunt where the character Gibby falls from 3 stories up and the stunt double gets seriously injured. Important to show unsafe stunts and what to do better.
That's a really good idea. I mean, I know there's always going to be elements of risk in any stunt, but the more people know about the methods the safer stunt performers will be
They already did it with Eric linden
Stuntpeople deserve nominations and being recognized at that Oscars.
I remember watching that burning scene in The 100 and when I saw her i was like “oh she’s covered in gel like they showed in Corridor” haha!
I love how she's Canadian and hit us with a few "I'm so sorry!"s during this.
Cassandra was really cool. More of her pls! She brought the energy and passion.
This has to be one of my favorite episodes so far
Such a light vibe to it
You are all such incredible professionals S2
One of the best episodes in a long time !
Thanks CC
There's this one thing I wanted to see on VFX React for a while, and the bit from Æon Flux made me take the courage to comments asking for it.
The thing I wanted to see is the pov of people behind bad shots.
I always thought it was silly to ask for this because you get all these great professionals to go in the show, and when you have them there you obviously want to talk about all the great work they done throughout the years, but I also always craved to have at least a little bit with them talking about shots they weren't as satisfied with the results, and what was the reason for it.
That would be great to show to people that the bad CG they complain still can come from great artists, and so we can see all the choices made and all the reasons (budget, time, etc) that resulted in a shot not as good as expected.
For example, Justice League had many of the same VFX leads from Avatar, I would love to see an Oscar winner for Avatar also give his story on what happened with the uncanny valley Superman lips.
In the next "Stuntwomen React" you should react to "Cutthroat Island", when Morgan escaping Port Royal with Shaw, the stuntwoman rolls out a window to fall right on the seat of the cart passing under her! It's so cool and well done!
you've got one of the most fun channels on CZcams
this episode is a perfect example why
really glad you're here kicking so much rear on so many great subjects about film and the like
so, thank you for making these videos!
Big fan of Cassandra since NerdzRL.
It's really cool to see all those movies she was in!
She talked about becoming a stunt woman in her vlogs for so long. It's inspiring to hear more about her successful career. ;-)
Cassandra was an amazing guest. I'd love to see her come back on.
Also I've never considered the lack of padding stunt women have to deal with. That's insane to think of the extra danger that comes with that. I'm glad Gui mentioned that.
Holy shit, I remember being really close with Cass years ago back when she streamed on a super early streaming platform. So great to see how far she's come!
Cassandra Was So Fun In This Episode.
Great Personality.
And We All Love Gui ❤️.
Please Bring Cassandra Back
Love you guys, thanks for all the invaluable analysis and fun reacts!
When she was explaining the car crash scene I was unconsciously holding my breath the whole time, damn
Fantastic having Cassandra here!. I watched Croft when it came out and was blown away -- it was stuff I'd wanted from the movie. I really wanted more. That I've watched her so many times since (gotta love that Vancouver base) is just the cherry on top.
This show is consistently amazing. Looking forward to the next episode!
stunt people are some unsung heros in movies. They do deserve more credit for what they do.
The special effects team on Shazam WAS amazing! 😉
You’re a rockstar and such a freaking delight to work with Cass! It was so cool clicking on the video and finding you there front and center! Keep kicking ass. Can’t wait to see you killing it as Wendy. Our whole crew keeps reminiscing about all the cool gags and experiences we got to have on that show. Stay safe and see you again soon, I’m sure.
Stuntwomen are awesome! Always been amazed how they do all the stuff as stuntMEN but in open outfits leaving very little space for padding. Great job, girls!
I am glad to see another perspective on the show and I loved her in Life XP
Practical FX are always the best. Much respect for that.
Cassandra is such a talented and awesome person so glad you guys had her on the show!!!
Love hearing really enthusiastic stunt performers talk about their work! You guys are tough as hell
Great episode and guest. Love what y'all do, keep it up. Gotta say Gui is my favorite
One of your best episodes:) Loved it.
8:53min... This footage of the car hit was from "CRASH ZONE Stunt show" (Corridor Crew mis-credited the footage). David Will No & Anthony Nanakornpanom are working stunt performers and coordinators and host this show that reviews stunt equipment for the industry! The driver was David Will No, and "recipient" was Girvan Bramble. Produced by Furious Films.
We've had a lot of our content stolen and reuploaded that were given millions of hits for other people. But absolutely LOVE the show! :)
Yes!! I was there! Also, it'd be GREAT to see David Will No on your couch! You could review his Chateaux fight scene in the Matrix, fighting Keanu Reeves! (he turned his knee back to front!)
CRASH ZONE is such a fabulous Stunt Show ... great demos and great presenters... can we see more please?
Awesome trio. Loved hearing Cassandra's input and it's always great to see Gui.
i actually saw the croft fan film years ago and I remember loving it and feeling inspired to make something because of it, so it was really awesome to be reminded of its existence, but also meet the woman behind it! Thanks to all of you and her!
Gui doesn’t get enough cred for his shoe game. Every video he’s rocking flame
