Sehr schones geläut!!! Sehr toll soviele afnahmen von Glocken durch Ihnen gemacht! Bei uns in Holland gibt es in einen kirchtürme durchschnit nur eine Glocke. Sehr oft auch an gekröpfte Jochen.
DIeses Geläute klingt super. Am angfang dachte ich gegen so viele Kleine kann sich die as gar nicht richtig durchsetzten. Aber diese Glocke klingt ja, wahnsinn ! und auch wenn sie mitläutet hört man ein sehr großes Klangspektrum.
Very impressive when one sees all those bronze instruments balancing to-and-fro without any sound whatsoever except for the whisp of the ringing machines! A unique spectacle with its Klöppelfänger! By the way, the first tenor bell of this bell (cast in 1980) cracked because of its Klöppelfänger! It was replaced by a new GIS° bell in 1996.
This is the standard practice in Austria and Germany. In America, bells are usually started all at the same time, which in much of Europe would have meant an emergency. During WWII, areas without air raid sirens would sound all the bells simultaneously as an alarm, rather than sequentially.
Wieviele Glocken hat der Turm?? Haben Sie von Kölner Dom ein Video? Die St. Peter ist eine Herrausfoderung weil viele Aufnahmen verzerren meiner Meinung nach. Ich möchte mal selber Glocken Aufnehemen. Aber die hier haben ein sehr schönen Klang. Weiter so.
auch, wenn dieses Video schon ziemlich alt ist, ist es eig. das einzigste Plenum Video des Wiltener Stiftsturms, welches ich gefunden habe! Ist dir ziemlich gut gelungen! ^)
It takes guts and gall to label JW's book as TRASH. I would be careful about such accusations. This is a very serious shot at an absolute wonderful book. Easy to criticize. Not so easy to rivalize.

Why this debate about the «real» musical pitches of the bells? In the massive authoritative book «Glockenkunde von Österreich», author/expert Jörg Wernisch (page 544) certifies that each bell of this complete super set of bells is at +4. Example: GIS+4 c+4 dis+4 etc. What else is there to say? Amen.
Who then in Austria holds in his holy hands the biblical truth about that wonderful country's church bells? I never thought that listening to these 11 wonderful bell symphony could stir up so much needless discussion in this tribune of so-called «Glockenfreunde» .....

My intention is not to «open a can of worms» with this. I really also do not think that Wernisch has heard any great amount of these Austrian bells listed in his «bible». I had been warned of this by a eminent German bell expert. Question: who gave him then this rubbish about the bell pitches? Grassmayr? When comparing the other, Bell 1 alone, with others, here in my sound studio, I also started having doubts. May the show go on.
Ich antworte jetzt auf Deutsch. Ich habe das Buch ebenfalls. Das Buch ist ein hervorragendes Nachschlagewerk. Aber fachlich kann es nicht mithalten. Es beginnt beim Vermischen von Kreuz- und B-Tonarten. Das geht nicht! Er charakterisiert den Klang anhand schlechter Aufnahmen mit schlechten Klöppeln. Das geht doch nicht. Der Klöppel kann den Klang verfälschen. Mit seinen Urteilen über Geläute lehnt er sich sehr weit aus dem Fenster. Fachlich kanns nicht überzeugen. Sorry, ist aber so.
Ein Video, das jetzt in der Glockenszene legendär sein dürfte. Immer wieder schön anzusehen!

Ähnlich wie das Geläute von Karlstadt am Main in Deutschland nur ein wenig moderner, mit Klöppelfängern und einer großen Glocke.
Das ist wieder einmal Äpfel mit Birnen vergleichen :-)
