Why the Underdogs Beating the Giants

The AFCON is down to the last eight and unlike previous editions where you could actually guess the teams still in the game, doing so now is impossible. There are several reasons for this and chief among them is that four of the last eight teams have never won the AFCON. So, they aren't exactly regulars at this level and the likelihood of a first-time winner is very high.

Because football has evolved..every team now has good enough structure where they can fend off teams. Its no longer like a decade ago

@@45score45 yes and no .I liked the less restricted play where everyone didn't play the same. Seems everyone now plays the same which kind of sucks
