lol, who'd want to sign there anyway. If LeBron was drafted by good organizations like the Lakers (pre- Jeanie), Boston, San Antonio, or Miami . He would've 8 chips by now. Cavs just treated him as a ticket selling attraction and never really made any moves to make a winning team during his first salvo there. LeBron was actually nice enough to fulfill his contract and not force a trade outa there. Bron should've stayed in Miami tho. Guaranteed he would've more than 4 by now.

The heat wouldn’t be better than a healthy Boston , New York , Philadelphia or Milwaukee, maybe not even Orlando if they add a major free agent like Paul George . Doesn’t make sense in Philly either , that would be too many guys who need the ball . Cavs gotta get value for him if he is not willing to resign. The question is where can they trade Mitchell that he will want to resign and can offer the Cavs at least decent value? Brooklyn has the Suns picks among some other assets plus Ben Simmons fat expiring contract but does Mitchell really want to go to a Nets team for the prime of his career and be a first round exit as while I like Bridges, Claxton, DFS and some other pieces there really just isn't much on the roster to say they would be more than a 44 win team that at best one year gets to round 2. Might as well stay with a young Cavs team that has a chance to make consistent deep playoff runs.
The Heat could offer JJJ and some low value picks plus a solid player like Herro but I doubt the Cavs are going to think of that as enough given that Miami can only offer up 2 picks and a pick swap and their picks usually are late teens to late twenties.
The Knicks certainly have the assets and some good pieces that they can maybe flip to a third team to get more assets or better fitting pieces back to the Cavs but are they interested in. But are the Knicks interested in Mitchell? He might be redundant next to Brunson whose also a ball heavy guard.
The Lakers can only trade 2 picks and they don't have many young assets or even veteran assets that would appeal to the Cavs.
OKC is a very good team and has the trade assets to acquire nearly anyone. However if Mitchell didn't like Utah or Cleveland I doubt he's going to command his way to OKC and sign an extension.
Atlanta has the number 1 pick in a weak draft and 2 future picks they can package along with young vet pieces in Murray and Young. But with issues with two ball dominant guards in Murray and Young make me think pairing one of them up with Mitchell isn't going to do anything.
