Bags,suitcases etc have been used to plant a bomb.Even the most innocent item may be taken away and destroyed if it is deemed a risk to security.Tourists should be made aware before coming here.

Leaving ANY object that’s suspicious is prohibited. In our current climate, who knows what it can contain, whether it’s a stroller, backpack, shopping bag, box or anything else! We’ve seen them all if we watch this a lot.

I am not a photographer, but I have seen other people do it and I am assuming that most of them obviously do not want a view of the back end of a horse. I think that some of them might want a silhouette type of photo, perhaps in black and white, of The Guard on top of a horse - if the lighting is right, there is the potential to obtain some lovely shots.

Most tourists do it when a broad because it's the easiest way to counteract pick pockets. It's been around for a long time at this point, i'm surprised you've never seen it before, even english tourists do it in crowded places when abroad.

There's no order there it's utter commotion of movement of people the guard doesn't know which way to turn when checking on the horse and guards.
