I'm a righty but I find the lefty way easier! This video is really good and helpful, I'm going to a new school and we have to wear ties and I'm struggling a little but this video has helped me a LOT. Thanks 👍
After watching dozens of other videos and failing miserably with every one of them, THIS ONE FINALLY DID IT FOR ME! I thought I was never going to get it right. The angle of the camera was what did it. Thank you!!!
This is the only video that helps me and I get it right every single time… thank you for this! It’s fast, no intro or talking no annoying music, it’s just the steps and the perfect angle.
My day left me and my brother, and I never learned how to tie a tie, and he never even tried to teach me. Thanks for taking the time and teaching everyone. Thanks!
Doing the video from that camera angle was pure genius. I tried three times with other videos but I think some people cant figure it out from that perspective view. Thank you
@@howtotieatie1370 i just give you a comment yesterday, but now when i comeback and read, everyone else is talking about the camera angle too... its really solve the battle with the mirror. BRO i LEARN how to tie a tie by myself, I've practicing yesterday on the night and today... I did it easily
Ok, a moment of transparency: For whatever reason, I have always had a block in my head when it came to tying a tie. I was always that guy that would have someone secretly tie it for me and never untie it. My boss recently left his tie home and asked to borrow mine. I obliged him, only for him to later untie it. UGH!!! He asked me do I know how to tie a tie. Obviously I told him "SURE"! Fast forward to tonight. I started to look for videos on "how to tie a tie". I stumble upon this one, and I have to say, this video has removed all anxiety I previously had. I'm around here tying all of the ties I own! Thanks for a simple video! I'm Cured!!!
Camera angle from above is a game changer. Trying to follow along with mirrored videos I was getting so frustrated. First try with your video nailed it. Thanks so much
You literally saved my life. I have a career fair tomorrow and I needed to learn this knot FAST. Thank you so much for the great angle and simple steps.
The camera angle made all the difference. You were so helpful. I finally got it now from up on top view Thank you so much Thank you so much again. I finally got it. I can't believe I actually did it. You're a lifesaver Those other videos, I couldn't get it. Going to get the job now with my fresh tie knot.
ah dude the view from above down is effin game changing. it took me 3 watches to get it mastered vs 10-12 front view and trying to work in reverse. genius.
Thank you so much!!! I have 3 boys and their dad passed away 6 years ago. This is one of those things I was hoping he would teach them... With your help we were able to learn! It may just be a video but it's a bittersweet memory for my boys and I!
I'm 31 years old. I tried to tie a tie for 15 years. Watched other tutorials for hours throughout the years and my tie always looked like garbage and my head hurt from following the directions. This angle changes EVERYTHING and suddenly it is very easy. I love you.
THANK YOU. My hubby is out of town and my daughter has a project in school tomorrow morning. She is the ghost of a scientist that talks about his life. Francis Crick was picked for her so because it’s a man we needed a tie showing under her lab coat for her presentation. So thank you bunches!
I'm 46 and I've never tied a tie in my life, trust me I've tried but could never follow the instructions as clearly as you. This camera angle was 100% what makes this video special. Also the tie you picked contrasts beautifully and it's easier to see what your doing. In the future consider adding some audio tips to even further give your advice and pro tips. Thanks a bunch.
This was the only way i was able to tie my tie, from the top down view. I was never able to follow the ones front on. I cannot express how thankful i am for this video!
The angle that they recorded the video really helped! People tend to record from the front making it difficult to follow along. I like the way they demonstrated in this video
To be honest, this is The video that taught me how to tie a tie. I am 25 years old and have never known how to tie a tie, all other videos I have seen are either at an opposite angle or they do it so fast. Great work author
Thank you, not growing up with a dad, never had anyone to show me, I have tried a trillion different ways, but your POV method is spot on, I have tied it 3 times from memory now, thank you so much.
My dad showed me how to tie a tie, my friend showed me, my drill sergeants showed me along with a countless list of CZcamsrs. They all gave up and ended up just tying it for me. Today I tied my first tie and this moment is bigger for me than it should’ve been! 😅 Thank you for this!
My colledge leavers dinner is coming up soon, I've never worn a suit or tie before and this video just came down from the heavens and saved me. Tysm!!!
I have watched multiple videos on how to tie a tie. I would have to watch the videos multiple times. Your video by far is the best. I will definitely be saving it. Since I only wear a tie about once every two years there’s no way I’m going to remember this lol
Thank you for this. I went through 3 different other videos and 2 short videos but yours was really helpful, especially how you filmed from this angle. 👍
A lot of people probably already said this but the camera angle is pretty much the key part as to why this was really helpful. The clear and slow steps were also really great too.
That looks like the half windsor knot. For a FULL windsor knot, you need to create a second "shoulder" by putting the tie through the collar from the front once more, but on the other side so both sides are even and symmetrical.
Haven't had to do this since I was in the Marines twelve years ago, thanks for the refresher. Also, the POV angle is fantastic and really helped, much appreciate.
Why doesn’t everyone show that camera angle? Some people do mirrored and that is nice but seriously this is the best one that I’ve seen. Whenever I need that tie for an interview or conference, I’m coming back to this video. I salute you. Thank you sir.
Thanks!
Glad to help you👍
@White & Black no seriously man he saved me

I have the wrong idea when I see POV in the title..
After watching dozens of other videos and failing miserably with every one of them, THIS ONE FINALLY DID IT FOR ME! I thought I was never going to get it right. The angle of the camera was what did it. Thank you!!!

My dad went out for milk and never got the chance to teach me this. Thanks man, this means a lot to me :)
You’re are legend for using this camera angle 💯

20 videos later, it took someone not talking & just doing it😅
This camera angle is perfect. The best tutorial I’ve watched on CZcams. Congrats and thank you! Saved the day!!!

The top-down view is probably the most helpful thing about this video, great work!
By far, the easiest and straight to the point presentation. I failed on 6b different tutorials before I came here. Thanks.
