Never would have imagined the scale, volume and precision of a grinding wheel company.
I envisioned a dirty, haphazard work environment.
    New respect for those products.

I did my apprenticeship as a machinist and toolmaker in Tyrol, then I worked in various companies in Austria (including Planseewerke/Cerazitit). I always had to deal with Tyrolit grinding wheels. Unfortunately, I was never able to see the company for myself...so thank you for the video and the insight! Awesome! :)

Thank you ! amazing ! thats the Boom Attitude !! i would be more than happy to hear from you or your team about that . i can get all other tyrolit products but just not the one Machinist stone you guys always show in the videos. and i didnt understood why that is, i mean it would make sense if they offer the PCG machinist stone also in the country of its origin. i know that i can get a same stone with the same specs and grid from tyrolit in a square or rectangular shape, but i would like to get one of those round ones! and it wouldnt make any sense to me to order one from the United States of Awesomeness if it is made a couple Kilometers away from where i grew up !

first of all let me appreciate your efforts, Thanks for uploading videos also thanks for replying to my comment, in youtube there is no such channel that make detailed videos of 5 axis setup, programming and post processing. 5 axis machining for beginners videos are rare in youtube.... make tutorials .....make post processor making videos is detail for 5 axis in post configurator.....make videos of different strategies....make more 5 axis part programming. (lets say you hve one part of 5 axis from beginning to end process video is appreciated make 2 3 hours of video ....or lets say when you start programming just turn on screen recording and when you done end it and upload just do nothing no need to explain all no efforts will take just upload ....this also helps)

Never would have thought the "classic wheels" need to be baked in furnace at high temp. Just wander what bonding is made there? And how they play with the bonding strength, as the holding strength for the grains needs to be very adapted to their cutting performance. Very impressive video, best promo Tyrolit can imagine for itself!!!!

New Process Gear (Chrysler Syracuse NY) had input shafts with I believe 3 different diameters so they were set up 1 wheel made for it and would plunge in for so many seconds then retract to check dimension. 20-24" diameter if I recall right.

There is a titanium plant nearby. I occasionally go there to work on air conditioning units. Primarily in their press shop. They take these giant ingots of titanium and make press them into bars. Then they go to their grinder room where they take them to finial dimensions. The grinding wheels are massive almost 3 foot in diameter. The amount of sparks that are flying off those bars is insane. It is like raining hell fire in that part of the plant. To be honest I don't like going there. It is loud, filthy, and dangerous. Not a great place for a squishy meat sack of a human.
