- After a few mile recon hike we spotted what looked like a giant subsidence only to find this mysterious hole at the bottom to check out.
It looked to be a slope entrance that went down a couple hundred feet to a collapse.Inside the entrance the mountain was mined out into 4 different chamber columns that where rather large. The working pitch was very steep and must have been treacherous for the men to work on.
Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous especially mines and caves. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.
The sliding board to Stenchville looked pretty treacherous, not too many are gonna miss this place when the collosal collapse happens there.
im always glad you make it back out of these places safe and sound broski
I'm glad you two didn't spend to much time in there. way to much junk and loose rock, should of had some rope to use to help move around. still a good video, you guys be safe.
Other than the garbage and tires, that portal was actually pretty beautiful with the moss and fern.
That moss is epic. Like nature's carpet.
@@AnthraciteHorrorStories Nature's Carpet. I like it. Has a nice ring to it.
@@MikeOrkid ya, a wise bald man once said this term. Stuck with me ever since.
This has to be the prettiest portal around the area.
@@577buttfan I have some gem looking entrances, but I can't show them. There's one where there's a waterfall going straight over one. It was a waterfall when it was in operation so they knew water would be an issue. What they did was they built a huge big gorgeous gob wall going up it and to the sides of it to protect vs the water. Looks like it was built yesterday even though it's been abandoned since the 40s/50s.
Great spot to shoot a movie scene, be safe brother, GOD BLESS
Did you record this before or after the earthquake in Lebanon township? Tom from Budd Lake ❤
Did the recent earthquake give you any pause of thought about entering places like this?
Ahh not really,I'm a firm believer in when it's your time it's your time.
Let’s…Go!🎉
Death pitch St in Sketchville. 😳
You got that right Lorri!
I wish I wasn’t claustrophobics.
All that water reminds me of the spots by me
Yeah I like when there is some water making noise in mines.
True. Also, I know that Coal Vein just by seeing it......the middle rock layer that is 😂
@@AnthraciteHorrorStories I call it the bologna sandwich vein lol.
@@577buttfan I call it the semi 💩 vein. 🤫
This place looks like Goodyear owned it? That's a lot of old tires!
That's a good one 🤣
So many monsters dump in the woods and mines. It's disgusting.
@@AnthraciteHorrorStories This one was kinda cool all really old garbage.
@@577buttfan I do like looking at the vintage garbage. Lol.
😎
Nobody: 🤔
Nobody in their right mind.
