Those were all such great ideas and I imagine even easier if prepared and foiled then refrigerated or frozen ahead of camp. Thanks!
It is a lot easier, quicker and neater if you put all the food on half the tinfoil then pull the other half over the top so the two halves meet one one side. You then roll the edges as you would if it were on top. To open you simply slit the packet down the middle and you have a easy neat serving bowl.
Those were some really good meal ideas. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate that. Thanks for watching
Thanks Keri, great job.. you've kept it simple and shown the end product, can't ask for more than that, tip top, well done mate!!
Thanks for the kind words!
Thanks Kerri. These all have given me some good ideas for my next camping adventure.
Wonderful! Iâve got more tin foil dinners idea to share too!
Yum!
Thank you for these ideas. My teens are just realizing the challenge of meal planning with limited supplies.
It really does require some creativity, when making meals. Glad I could help. â€ïž
Omg I've gotta try these!! Thanks so much for sharing!đđđŒ
I hope you enjoy them too!
You had me at campfire apple crisp! Thanks for these recipe ideas!!
It was so good!

Just follow along, and it will turn out great! Thanks for subscribing â€ïž
My mom would always make tinfoil dinners for my first night on Scout camps. They were great and the other guys were always jealous of them since they would usually have just a can of soup.
She would do a layer of foil, then newspaper, and then another layer of foil.
Loved it great ideas
Iâm so happy you liked them!
Fantastic!
Thanks!
Going camping in September! I can't wait to try the chicken pineapple and apple crisp! Gonna make the crisp now so I can have it frozen and ready too! Fantastic Ideas!!! Thank you!
Pre making the crisp is a great idea! Enjoy your camping trip!
@@KeriPratt Thank you! Lookin forward to your next videos!! âșïž
Great video! Can't wait to make these. Oh, and by the way, with all due respect you are mucho gorgeous. JT from downunder.
I found you while searching for better ways to wrap and seal with tinfoil . Fellow Albertan!!đ Still searching as I wrap mine the same way as you do. Not a problem just wishing there was a clever idea but I have found that heavy duty tinfoil is the game changer. Love the idea of parchment paper also !!! . just a friendly tip, buy some cheap welders gloves at Princess auto so the forearms don't get burnt while turning packets in the hot fire.
My husband will appreciate the gloves. What a great idea for a birthday gift.
Hi Keri!
I am wanting to do a boneless chicken breast with small taters.
How long is the cook over coals?
30 min each side?
Hereâs a recipe similar to that!

đLooks delicious!! Could you give approximate oven temperature and time for a retired camper?
My go to temperature is 350F and I would suggest 20 mins. (Just make sure your meat is smaller in size, so it cooks quicker)
I see there was dark discoloration on the parchment paper. Did that give the food a slight burnt paper flavor?
I didnât notice it.
Was the meatballs precooked? I just wanted to make sure.
Yes, the meatballs were pre-cooked.
CAN THEY BE PUT INTO THE OVEN IF NOT GOING CAMPING ?
100% YES đđŒ
What happens if you donât use parchment paper in your tin foil meals?
Just spray the tin foil with pam, cooking oil, butter, or coconut oil. Just something so the food doesnât stick to the tin foil.
why parchment paper? thanks
Things donât stick, and then you donât need to grease it either. đ
Yes, great idea! I've never seen anyone use it for tinfoil meals. It makes so much sense. Thanks.
