- if you can’t run a half marathon… why not walk it! i just moved to australia a month ago and on this hot girl walk I take you along a 13.1 mile track along melbourne’s coastline on a beautiful and sunny day. checking in at each mile, we’ll see how long it ends up taking!

One cool thing about that boardwalk is it has a scale model of the solar system. To get from the model of the sun to the model of Pluto is about 6km.

I also live in Melbourne (well eastern suburbs). While the weather is still good make a trip to the William Ricketts Sanctuary in the Dandenong Ranges. It's the place I like to go to clear my head when life gets too much. Make sure to pack bug spray.

Lately I have been trying to walk a half marathon on the weekends. The problem is the pain afterwards. I can push through the pain during the walk, but when I finish and stop my feet are on fire. Wonder if this happened to you.
it could be your shoes! i wear hokas and don’t have issues with my feet burning. Also potentially could be because your shoes are tied too tight
@@elliemajelly So I got new shoes... old Nikes gone, and now have On shoes. And today I did a solid 23 km and the shoes really helped. Feet aren't that sore.
