This looks SOO FUN 😅!!! I'm a city girl from Cowtown...(Kansas city MO) I'd LOVE TO SEE THIS IN PERSON!!! I never owned a horse in my life ( only a couple of broom sticks that I 'rode ' around my neighborhood) I neighbor boy was a horse theft and stole one!! I don't remember if it was Old Red or my white one, Buttercup. He NEVER stole from me again after we went rustling in the dirt. We were both around 11 years old ❤❤❤ YES...I STILL WAS RIDING 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤ I'm 67 now but would really love to ride like you all!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US!!! HAPPY TRAILS 🏇 🏇 🏇 🏇 🏇 🏇 🏇 hor❤❤❤❤❤
I'm in canada and I am DESPERTATE to do this kinda thing as a job! I would happily relocate for the option! And I'm not just saying that. I work on a horse breeding farm currently, have for about four years now. Take lessons in western style every week. (When work allows) This is a dream.
From my right hip down to my knee I can no longer mount a horse normally. I'd ridden horses of all levels of training, blessed that way. Some I was in an environment conducive to starting at the first hint of light heading from plains into foothills of the Sierras and making it back to the ranch as the last of the light faded. I stay in the best shape i can, my ski area Schweitzer has an incredible handicap skiing program which is great for my moral. The partnership with a hose is unique, I miss it.
That would be amazing to do. I miss riding its been over 30+ years since i had my horse. I still miss riding a lot. Love the freedom cowboy life has and free from the Concrete City.
Where do I have to apply for next years drive? I'm an experienced rider (from Germany). It looks like such a dream to experience! Some day I guess I will apply to participate! Amazing how fit these horses are, to do so much trotting :o There are some beautiful pintos in that herd, two black and white ones with very similar face markings 😍
@RosieGaelic I’m with you on that. I’m sure the ride is fun, but 500 horses? 🤷♀️ It’s funny how BLM horses are being rounded up and living in feedlots, yet these horses are all fit, healthy and free to eat, live and just be horses for however long. Privately owned land? It’s interesting.
Only sad side is these horses more than likely (from what I found online) will end up getting shipped to slaughter houses. Lol, I was questioning it when I saw a couple draft breeds in there so I googled...🤷♀ is what it is, upside is these horses lived THE BEST end days out to pasture! Look how beautiful & good they look! That's pretty cool. 🙂
No one should be helping them then. This is plain horrible would even post this video. These people need to be shut down. I saved a kill pen horse as a baby b and it C
Well, that looks like a blast!
It is !! Thanks for watching ! More at todayswildwest.com
Never gone on one of these myself. Would love to do one though. Horse drives are much like cattle drives, but with one main difference; *Speed.*
Nate Brown is a friend of mine. I worked with him on a dude ranch in Colorodo.
I'll sign up, Mark.

I enjoyed gathering cattle on the ZN ranch in Montana. I would love to do this.
Wow didn't know at the right age such chances existed. Thank you for doing this COWBOYS/RANCHERS! God Bless and keep all never stop!

Just printed the form for 2024 event. Your video provided great information and inspiration. When did you ride the event?

I hope and pray this beautiful healthy horses will continue to love and thrive and not wind up in evil hands or slaughter 😢
Not to worry - they love horses as much as you do!
and they're well traIned riding horses

😮I noticed the Pintos also!!😅❤❤❤❤🏇
This looks amazing, but this ranch has some terrible reviews online.
How many TRUE INDIAN TRIBESMEN GET INVITED?
No cowboys, now horseboys.
Please send me one hourse from that state to shillong meghalaya
THEY BETTER NOT BEING ROUNDING THEM UP FOR SLAUGHTER!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
Guess you did not pay attention to the dialog. Take your capital letters someplace else.
They literally tell you what they're for like 2 minutes in. You couldn't last that long before losing it?

Why😮😮😮😮
WHY?
They tell you why at the very beginning...? Listening is hard, apparently.
I heard you say you trot most the way, I didn’t see gated horses, why not? (P. S. Not a gated person)
it's a quarter horse outfit - see more at todayswildwest.com Thanks for watching!
Sometimes that'll happen, and sometimes it won't. However, the horses set the pace, so it's guaranteed to be fast.

I sure hope not. If that happens it should be advertised so one no helps them.
They said that these horses won't end up at a slaughter house. 😢
@@glendacisneros982 I sure hope they protect these beautiful horses.
Most horses owned by businesses end up there, sadly. Geriatric horses don't earn money.
No one should be helping them then. This is plain horrible would even post this video. These people need to be shut down. I saved a kill pen horse as a baby b and it C

Driving them to BLM pens?
No - watch the show & you'll see!
Did you bother to listen to the dialog?
I don't get these comments. They tell you at the very beginning of the video.
