@@thenatedog okay it wasn't aware of that I bought a couple weasels like 20 years ago and I still got one brand new un built in the box
@@HomesteadFarms420 yeah I dream flight makes only three planes. There's the Alula which is more of the light wind kind of DLG sloper and then there's the weasel which is the larger pretty much flying everything all day long and you can put more weight in it I think you can fly over 20 miles an hour with that and then they have their ahi which is there four channel trick kind of glider

I'am very familar with the weasel i inherited two orignal in the box One still is! and a BobSmith SeaBreaze 99.76" wingspan fberglass sail plane. but thanks for the other Dreamflight info might have to grav me a Alula been wanting somthing like a quality compacrt DLG and copared to alot others very affordable think i'll need another 20 years in the hobby join some compitions become professional . before i could justify spending 1.2--3K on a damn rc glider fior thme prices i want to be able to ride it like my arrowworks edge .. Not wanting to splash the cash and at the time not being able to find one available, I built two, out of depron and foam board following a plan I found online. Obviously not as good as the real thing but where I fly (Brecon Beacons) you need something heavier and sturdy to handle the wind.

That dragon fly is amazing!
And I thought I had found all the sloper channels! Subbed and belled, great channel sir! The weasel is awesome and sooo much fun, and with our new gestapo laws in Canada the weasel is one of few planes we can still fly without being a criminal.
Great model I have had this and the Alula. The Trek needs (Take that as must have) wind though, no wind and you'll be walking lots. Hence me having both of them. You'll be surprised how little ballast it needs in quite strong winds. Enjoy!
👍👍 When you consider longer flight times, a slightly higher upfront cost averages out.
$$/fun achieved should still be up there! Have a blast!
BTW: if use an 1s 18650 with a 5V, (or 6V) DC-DC, you could probably fly for hours and hours.
(Matek makes a Booster Regulation Module that is 1.2-1.5g, so ~45-50g total)
