Kevin has built an incredible team at TKM they are truly top notch.

NC has a lot of race winning engine shops & one that i use is HED in Mooresville NC even though i live 15 minutes from TKM. ( Nothing against TKM )
I go to HED because I've known him for 20+ years.

@@Brooks336 we are fortunate to have a lot of awesome shops between here SC and Virginia. I use Scott Duggins PAR Racing Engines. I used Steve Morris, but moving down here and James turning me on to him 5 yrs ago I been very happy. He keep pistons, rods, crans, lifters, cams, and all that on the shelf he repairs all blocks in house, has his own head program one bad place. I use my buddy Curtis and Dan at RFD (Race Flow Development) for heads and intakes.
I don't know much about TKM but after listening to the owner and seeing a shop full of American made CNC machines I won't hesitate to use their services in the future. My kind of establishment.

As young person I worked part time at a machine shop, this machine shop looks very modern compared to what I use to work with but it brings back memories of my early engine building days

You guys have it made it your areas when come to racing engine shops here in Southern California there are almost no shops like this here.And the ones that do have a decent shop claim that can’t find anyone to help them are they are not willing to pay them what they are worth even if they are just starting off.I had a engine at one time sit in a machine shop/engine shop for a year and it still never got touched I had to take it to another shop.It’s INCREDIBLE
Them little engines are gonna grow up fast & strong, hungry for some fuel formula!!

I've been wanting to work with TKM on a build now for a couple years. Seems like they do some of the best work out there right now. At least close to here.... Working with this budget for now though 😆

It would if all of the ones in commiefornia would move to red states like Edelbrock did AND start manufacturing parts in the USA again instead of CHINA like Holley is doing i'd say 75% of Holley's stuff is made in CHINA.

Did you have them put receiver grooves for the hoops in your new block?
I did not put the hoops in mine, just regular o rings. SBC have a lot more head bolts, lol.
Do you still run MLS type head gaskets with O rings or copper like with TF hoops?
Was that John doc name at the bottom of the list?
I don't know, did really look at the list. I'm sure he has revolving spot as many motors as he does.
