@@ZaatarGardens whatt time of year do you recommend, in inland portugal, light frost in winter sometimes with lots of rain.
I prune mine 2 weeks before the last frost date (last frost date for me is February 15th)

Very informative video, could I possibly send you a picture of my tree. It's under a year old but I would like to shape it how you're doing it. Thank you Rich
If it’s only one year old, I would suggest cutting (center trunk) it to about 3 feet off the ground. that is the first major pruning cut you need to do. But typically you do that right after you plant it so now you just want to prune down heavily. there’s not much you can do when it’s only a year old.
When is the best time of the year to prune almond trees? I live in Arizona.

The size of this tree produces an average of 150 almonds, if you let the tree get larger production will grow compounding.

Yeah that would be fine, they have a very early bloom set and need a long very warm summer.
