Sn=n/2{a + [a+(n-1)d]}
The a+(n-1)d is equal to An.
So we can also modified it to Sn=n/2(a+An). It's the same formula that this video have been taught
Actually, I prefer the one used in the vedio. Because it reminds me that I am taking an average of the terms multiple times(n times). That way, it's easier to remember it.
I am a nontraditional student. I started college at 38 - that's 20 years after graduating high school! I basically forgot all math lol. We are currently doing this and I was really struggling to get it, but your explanation really helped.
