    You guys should really consider bringing back the old "Great Iron Horse Train Robbery" set, complete with its diorama piece, exploding car, trap door car, figures, and storybook, while updating it with an oval of Nickel Silver E-Z track, newer style transformer, and a Jupiter engine with the more recent tooling and livery...

    That's a big update to the EZ Command, I have had the original since 2011 for my small layout and it's been fine for that other than not being able to access a couple functions on 1 sound loco I have but it looks like you covered everything for a small or casual layout now!
    I might have to get one of these and sell the original.

    If I set one train to the slowest speed, then set a second train to the fastest speed, then switch back to the slow train and slightly move the speed dial, does the slow train jump to the faster speed or stay at the slowest speed initially set?

    • @BachmannTrainsUSA
      @BachmannTrainsUSA  Před rokem +12

      It will stay at its original speed and increase appropriately as you turn the control dial. The dial turns continuously. It does not have a start and stop point. Speeds are relative to the number of turns made for each model and are not governed by the position of the dial.

    The price for what it offers is unrealistic, it should cost no more than $99. For less money I can get so many other DCC controllers with TONs, and I cant stress this enough, TONSSSS more features. Sorry Bachmann, I love the E-Z Track system but this controller is already 10 years outdated and that an understatement.

    so when you are programming the model does this change the address number to the respective push button number? so if you assign an engine to the 9 button does that mean that the chip in the engine has been change to 009 along with the respective cv value? I suspect you cant program engine number from the command station.

    • @IndianaNorthWestern
      @IndianaNorthWestern Před rokem

      You can NOT program CV's using any bachmann ez command controller, for like $180 to $220 you can pick up a "NCE Power Cab" which allows you to do whatever you want with your locomotive, like change CV's, use 4 digit addresses, consist locomotives properly and a whole lot more. Trust me, just get a NCE Power Cab, these things suck.

    • @BachmannTrainsUSA
      @BachmannTrainsUSA  Před rokem +1

      Programming the locomotive to one of the push button addresses on the controller will change the address the locomotive is assigned to on any controller.
