I have Hoot in 4 sizes. The biggest one (24") was my very first Squishmallow ever and has turned me into a junkie (can't even begin to count them now). My heart breaks seeing his little ears all torn up and the holes. Naughty pupper!
One thing that is pretty awesome about Squishmallows is that you can toss them (undamaged) in the washing machine and they clean up beautifully. The fabric spot cleans well, but in the machine they floof up and the fabric is just as soft as when it was new. They can go in a no heat dryer as well.
You are sooo Lucky to have him in 24 inch!! I've been trying to get him in this size for over 2 years now. Enjoy your chonk for me😍🦉

That's a pretty good restoration! My dog also loves to steal whatever plush toys I have and it doesn't take him long to poke a hole in them either. Constant watch is necessary 👀

My aunts dog takes them and i know i shouldn’t say this but you know lets just say puts his hotdog on them cause he thinks its another dog cause they are soft
That's exactly what my cats do too and I just got 2 new Squishmallows from Cat Con 2023 and already 1 tag punctured and the little Cam with heart has holes on it's face and the back of it's head. They did it while I was out! I don't care too much about the tags but I pray I can fix the holes all over Cam. They go after my socks and any of my other plush items too! 😭💔
You gave this bro the treatment of a lifetime! Wow! It looked so nice! Like a massage, and all that, into the soapy water! So satisfying!
I've sent a good number of stuffed animals through the washer and dryer. The trick is to put them in a laundry bag and they usually turn out good as new. That's the fast, less methodical way. But I've also replaced the stuffing too when the animal went flat.

I really like the video and im glad you helped him! If you ever have to make an ear likr this again i have a couple of tips, you could pin the stencil you cut to the fabric and trim around it, and you can fold the fabric so you get two sides that are exactly the same. You could also try sewing with the paper still pinned to the fabric but i dont know how well it would work. Anyways he looks great:))

I really like the sewing machine sounds and the squishmallow looks a lot better now. I wonder what it would look like if both ears had been replaced.

Hi! My favorite owl is looking very similar to the one in the thumbnail, an I was just wondering what replacement filling you're using here. Can't seem to locate the Fairfield fiber fill displayed in the video, and want to make sure I find an appropriate analogue to the standard squish.

I am currently sitting here brushing out extremely compacted stuffing from my oldest and favorite mallow, cause I use him s a pillow and he's completely flat and can't stay up he's so flat XD I don't have $25 for royal silk polyfill so I'm just spending like probably 2 week just sitting here, oh so slowly brushing his stuffing out :p cause my poor oh so old dino pillow needs my help and I'm finally giving him the help he needs, rather than just washing and drying him in the laundry :p

@@junoesqueset it took me 3 days of brushing cotton for 2-3 hours each to get a nice like, 2 handfuls XD I had to leave the house for a week so progress stopped till I get back :p
@@junoesqueset also my mom is calling me a crazy person :p she says she doesn't understand how I could have the patience for it haha
p.s. I have 3/4 of a trash bag of stuffing to brush XD
@@princessaurora1111 wow thats a lot of time, and u have so much to go! patience is a good thing in my opinion so kudos to you. just remember how much u love him and keep working your way through :) i hope to restore my own mallow (16 inch tall kenny) soon.
after washing the squishmallow, how did you dry it?
I have this one but it is not broken
My Hoot also has a hole but it’s much smaller. I believe it was bought this way. My hole is the size of an eraser nub and it’s also the largest size Sqishmallow. Any tips? Or do I do what you’re doing for a bigger hole.
hi! here’s a tip, just sew it up normally- no need to unstuff it completely, just do very tight stictches
You cut 2 pieces of fabric facing the same way love, you couldn't hear me trying to help lol

Hi! My 2.5 year old daughter has a squish exactly like this, he's her best buddy but his stuffing is losing it's fluffiness, can you tell me what brand/kind of filling you used? I couldn't really see the packaging in the video and it wasn't listed in the materials used, I'd really appreciate it!
From what I can see it looks like standard poly fill was used. Hope this helps!

Try Poly-Fil Royal Silk, it should be softer, similar to the Squishmallow marshmallow stuffing.

squishmallows are not made out of cotton! they are made out of polyester fibers! anways, awesome video! sooo satifyinggg loving the glow up!
