I would love to see this entire episode of Ruby Wax ...she has always been a favorite
Ruby's story of her family is so heart breaking. God bless them and Ruby. I hope she can find some comfort from how brave her family was.
I'm pleased that Ruby was able to visit this town to get a sense of just how dreadful her ancestors situation was. It may look like a nice town now but you can be sure it isn't. Underneath the pretty facades, the cobbled streets, the smiling townsfolk is the Real story.
In 1848 the Jewish community of Boskovice became a politically independent town with its own mayor. At its peak in 1857, more than 1,800 Jews lived there.
WDYTYA videos are so interesting! Please post some of the early seasons from the UK especially season 1 & 2.
