The most ironic part about all of this is that if the other couples felt so threatened by y'alls friendship then they could've easily made their own strong alliances. Like how is 2 couples running the whole villa when y'all got like 5 other couples? All they had to do was stay loyal to each other in the carnival

This! It seems like everyone peeped game about the USA alliance early on too so they had three weeks to make something shake with other couples if they thought JJ and Ceyal were a threat. I get why people say they were the strongest couple due to their social standing but it’s on them for not acting on it. Like everyone just sat there and watched them instead of making moves lol.
I will never understand how 5 couples failed to get together and take you out then they blame you for it.

Yes! 100% agree. Some of the commentary that people have about this is WILD. First, it was their decision to make, they made it, it's done. Second, everyone can have all the opinions but they weren't in that situation seeing and experiencing everything that did not make it into episodes. 1)Zeta tried to rlly couple up with Jack knowing he was w/ Justine yet got upset with Justine when Justine/Jack voted her and Mitch to be vulnerable
2) Imani had repeatedly tried to vote Justine off in past episodes and the one time Justine does it to her she’s villainized.. Justine did a fraction of what they did to her and ppl are still giving the most criticism
Yeah it's clear to see the hypocrisy. The same people who were saying that Imani trying to vote off Justine was just a game move and understandable, are now some of the loudest sending Justine hate for actually protecting herself from someone who actively wanted her out.

the reason all the other couples were so threatened by cely/justine/jack/eyal alliance was because they were ROCK SOLID, unwavering loyalty and they never faltered like if the other couples (who already outnumber them) had made their own alliance and fully stuck to it? things would've been different but the loyalties kept switching between the other couples as seen during the carnival.

I honestly don't believe Imani genuinely liked Cely & Justine and was looking for an excuse. The fact that Cely & Jess could laugh about it shows there was no harm, yet Imani made it an issue and saw it as opportunity to try to pick at Cely's character.

You can tell that Justine was on the challenge. She was smart about her moves and alliances! All while actually finding a real love connection too ! And cely girl, she played a damn good social game. Everyone just mad mad lmao
I hope everyone remembers this show is called Love Island GAMES. Please don't watch or sign up to a game that's based on social strategy if you're going to complain about game moves. The show ended months ago, there’s no need to take things personally. Imani was going to vote out Justine twice, and had literally just been exposed as being a part of the bombshell alliance. Not only that, Imani put apples in Jack and Justine's basket and made it clear that she was willing to go rogue since her and Ray openly disagreed in front of everyone. Ray was also always going to be more loyal to Johnny and would've cut Justine over him. You can see that by how he was in the final, literally praying for Justine's downfall. Only one person can win. It is what it is.
Edit: I have just seen how Ray has been behaving post show and I have now truly lost any respect for him. He's been liking hate comments about Justine, posting things to fuel hate towards Justine and openly saying that he doesn't care if Justine gets harassed and bullied because of it since he thinks it's funny... and he still follows the guy who hurt Justine knowing everything that happened. He actually was never a good friend in the first place.

I think Imani would've pushed for Justine and Jack to go and I think Ray would've felt he was being loyal to Johnny and accepted it. And just to add now having seen the finale I'm even more certain Ray would of chosen Johnny over everyone. Look at the way he voted for him, cheered only for him, and literally prayed on Justine's downfall.

@@chi2om This is how I think it would’ve played out if Jack/Justine saved Ray/Imani instead of Mitch/Zeta…During the next tire challenge, they would’ve targeted Callum/Deb to be eliminated bc they would’ve been the ONLY non-USA couple. Remember team USA wanted to keep as many USA folks in. I still think Jack/Justine would’ve won and secured their spot in the finale. That would’ve left allthe ex-Islanders to decide between Johnny/Aurelia, Ray/Imani and Cely/Eyal for finals. I think they would’ve ultimately dumped Ray/Imani because Imani had just screwed everyone over at the carnival the previous day, and they still would’ve been pissed bc she showed no loyalty to anyone (in their eyes). Next up, Cely/Eyal would’ve gotten beat in the first duel bc (let’s face it) they didn’t have the strength to beat Johnny/Aurelia and Jack/Justine. So it still would’ve left Jack/Justine and Johnny/Aurelia in the finals.
After the finale recap episode I hope y'all do another one about the whole season and what happened after filming when y'all stayed in Fiji, etc.

I don't think that they are bad friends or that getting rid of Ray was a bad move. From the beginning I always said if necessary they would get rid of Johnny first 😂 but the circumstances warranted them to shift their votes. At the end of the day it is a game. Unfortunately Ray got caught in the crosshairs of the New comers (or internationals) Vs. American alliance. Imani tried to play the game - showed her hand- and was aligned with the enemy, Ray was a casualty in her game. Think about it she wasn't just his "partner" she was his girlfriend, how she moves affects their game. People keep saying how much Ray has done for them but they pulled their weigh for example when they had to dump coins and the girls (justine and cely) were butting head with their guys on who's they would give the coins to.
None of them are bad people. They are just playing the game as we have seen over and over in competitions like survivor, big brother and the challenge thats just the way it works.

A week ago I was wishing this season was longer but not any more. I'm happy for the final being tomorrow and may the best players win. Certain stans are taking things too far and going on people's SM platforms with hate speech, which is bottom barrel to me.

Some people never grew up watching the show SURVIVOR and it shows. Because these game play strategies are kind compared to how it could be lol. Every move thus far makes sense in some way whether you agree on not. Absolutely love this unbothered trio in and out of the villa. Carnival episode was crazyyyy.

I felt soooo bad for Ray in this one!! Imani definitely ruined the chances of being saved because she was wishy washy for sure! Her trying to have an alliance on both sides and ruining them both in the same challenge is ALSO CRAZY! I won’t be surprised if they are the ones going home tonight!
She didn’t have a alliance with Justine and Cely, Ray did. She was always particularly close to the international girls and girls like Courtney and Zeta and that’s where I think the confusion was. It’s because Ray was trying really hard to push her to align with his alliance with Justine and Cely , when she already had alliances and close relationships with people on the other side, and that’s why I came off wishy-washy. Because at the end of the day she was right even if it wasn’t at the carnival, they were never going to keep Ray until the end. It was always going to be Justine and Cely because they are the closest and they obviously don’t have an issue voting off friends either hence Kyra.

You can literally say "she was a tough competitor, it would be smart to take her out", INSTEAD, she went after Imani's character, as a person. If you think about it…. Jack and Justine’s hard decision made the next challenge so much easier for the remaining couples. Cause had ray and imani been there, Ray wouldnt have gone against Johnny, Johnny already said he had no reason to save jack and ik that he wouldnt have np with sending Cely home… it had to be done. BOSS ASS MOVE and if a game ruins a friendship (which it didnt) then that wasnt a friendship

I just finished watcing the Love Island Game. And I came in support for Justine and Cely (no offense Jack lol).
I didn't know them before, i never watch the Love Island US, only the UK one. But the moment i watch the first episodes of LIG, i knew immediately that these two are such a great people to be around. Cely is like intimidating, but friendly-looking yet so funny, while Justine is like chillest person and wise, both fun to be around. Like...damn. I envy Jack atp loloolol
