    I’ve tried many others and this pouch is my favorite for this app. Tac tailor makes great stuff and TNVC laid out the pockets in an intuitive manner.

    Can streaks be burned in when NVGs are off? I store my RNVGs mounted on my helmet hanging on the wall in my little “vault” room, I’m a night vision noob and up until recently haven’t kept my day caps on when hung up. Few days back noticed squigglies in the same spot in both tubes and couldn’t think of how that would’ve happened aside from ive got bright ass LED lights on the ceiling.. I tried black boxing them for a short duration and the squiggles went away, and now I’m keeping caps on 100% of time not in use. But curious, can they be damaged by light when off?? Thank you

    • @KineticConsulting
      @KineticConsulting  Před 3 lety +5

      Yeah, if you have super bright lights and they just sit there keep the caps on. Some tubes are more susceptible then others.

    Really digging your vids man I do have a question at the end of your video you were saying you don’t recommend the hard case approach because of the moisture issue. Would putting them in a hard case with maybe some silica gel desiccant packets work or would there be too much moisture for the packets to work effectively to dry the case out

    • @KineticConsulting
      @KineticConsulting  Před 3 lety +2

      You can, but what I suggest is to leave the case open on you drive home and then while you sleep to let them dry out prior to closing them up. That would alleviate the problem. Silica packets would be nice touch

    Would having a 14, nightcap, and mount make it stick out too far to wear on a drop leg thigh rig?.
    If you get that and a leg rig in black, you could potentially EDC that setup and no one would ask about it

    • @KineticConsulting
