I have been bed ridden for many years. I have tears and my brain feels it has taken a healing medication. I just found your videos. Please please do an album of this music!!! You are on a frequency you may or may not know you are on. I don’t know what to say but thank you. I’m a musician/producer who can not play anymore. With all these crazy pedals with the beauty of the harp and your playing hits from another world that people like me have needed. From someone that is struggling so much you lit the room bright today!
Same for me! I struggle with neuropathic pain and not being able to play instruments and produce like I used to, but the harp heals!
So sorry to hear! It can be a fight every day when going through such times. Finding the little things that bring a spark of hope and strength is something we have to continue to find! Hope you find some relief and answers to someday play and write again. One of the greatest heart breaks

@@davidgick3981 Yeah, I've got some synths, samplers and sequencers and playing piano isn't as bad as playing guitar or long beating at the drums. I've made some house, jungle, ambient and industrial along the years.

This is absolutely true. Great musicianship and real instruments combined with this wonderful, living, breathing technology of pedals is infinitely more satisfying than programmed midi in all of its sterility.

I was having a panic attack where I couldn't calm down and I just started like- panic clicking on videos to try to distract me before i had a break down - I got stuck on this video and some how I made it here to a place with a clear mind. The harp is such a beautiful and underused instrument. It sounds great through the Dark Star as well, I imagine there’s quite a few modulation effects would work well with harp. A Leslie/rotary speaker is something that I can imagine working very well with the harp.
Of course, Dark Star needs no words at all, it's pure ambient magic. In your hands it shines indeed!

The pitch effect is pretty cool to have all in one pedal. I had to utilize a delay rack mount and a harmonizer with a three preset pedal board to get that sound live back in the dark ages (1980’s). The effects really shine on a harp and frankly a lot more enjoyable to check out. Thanks Emily!

Just discovered your channel and you're f'ing amazing! I recently was in a rut trying to decide to buy a harp or another instrument and went with the latter. I definitely didn't put the harp aside as it was more of a matter of which one to buy first. But after discovering your channel im definitely getting a harp next.
