The words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart - Psalm 19

It is estimated that only between 1/10th and 1/8th of an iceberg is visible above the water. In some ways each of us is like an iceberg. People around us only see a fraction of what we are made up of. Even those that are close to us don’t really know us. Most often we talk about things of little significance, while the deeper things are kept secret. Our thought life, like the 7/8ths of the iceberg remains hidden. Of course it isn't hidden from God. That's why David asked of the Lord, "Let...the meditation of my heart (my thoughts) be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer." That's what we'll be looking at this week in our final study of Psalm 19, our thought life. Some might say, we'll be looking at who we really are.
